Very cool trekking to the temple, no need to pay a driver to bring you there
This temple is an amazing one. at the top of the hill, is better if you take the elevator. the view from um there is incredible
Incredible location on top of a mountain overlooking the city. Time your visit after a rain shower or on a windy afternoon to guarantee a good view, otherwise the smog prevents seeing most anything.
Best view on the city. When the farmers burn their fields the air is dirty in the city so you won't be able to see very far. Don't bother going to the Hmong village it's useless nothing to see.
Nice trip here :)
Take a song teow (sp?) to the Chiang Mai zoo. From there, take another song teow for 40 baht up to the temple.
enjoy the view after climbing up the stairs
If you have the time, I'd avoid paying a taxi to take you from the city here and back again within 2h. Make it a day trip, perhaps hike up and then head for the waterfalls or other cool spots around.
Better to prepare the plastic bag just in case you feel nausea :) the sour fruits can also relief the symptom.
Too crowded, too chaotic, too commercial. What used to be an incredible temple & must-do place to visit in Chiangmai is now a crass tourist trap. There are much better temples to visit close to town.
Umm... TT _,,_
Its worth the climb. Dont fail to visit when you are in Chiang Mai.
Entrance fee 30B, cable car 20B
This is one of the most sacred temple in Thailand. A must-see if you are in Chiang Mai !
Enough gold to make a Bond villain proud. Just don't come for the view.
Most important temple to visit in Chiang mai, beautiful view of the city from top of the mountain.
The ride to the hill in the hot day is maybe even better that the temple itself.
You can either motorbike there, ride a bicycle to the zoo and take a ted taxi (40 Bath one way) to the temple or catch a red taxi at the north gate (60 Bath one way).
Best of the one temple in chiangmai. Please do not support buy anything on the path to the temple.
Si fu near entrance of doi suthep temple
Greeted by beautiful flowers
Go at sunset n it is Least crowded. The night scene is best.
There are two ways to up to the pagoda, walks on the stairs or pay for cable car
Be prepared to spend the day here. There is so much to see and do. Whether you bike, hike or ride there is something for everyone.
Take stares to enjoy the multiple points of view!
Great view over the chiangmai on the way uphill. Rent a motorbike and go to the top (pass Wat Suthep to Doi Pui) to see sunset

Speed test 3G truemove-H
New men and women's restrooms, sponsored by Cotto, located near the cable car station are nice and clean.
Tucked away in the mountains at 3,520 feet (1,056 meters). The temple is reached by a staircase with 300 steps, flanked by a NAGA balustrade on both sides.
Do not wear shorts or singlets, you'll need to cover up your legs and shoulders :)
Nice to visit around the evening prayer time. 6:30pm. And stay for the ceremony.
Yes. Worth visiting.
Check the view out here it's great
Feel good after praying, glad to be here
My new residence for several weeks.
Often merit making , at least mind
Nice place but that day was too crowded. It looked like a market. Nice view of the city.
