Worth dropping inside and admiring the interior renovation. Very real feeling of 1920's Shanghai. Live jazz can be heard throughout the lobby. Hotel stocks Le Labo for amenities. Slow internet!!

Beautiful place that I often bring friends/family visiting Shanghai. Tip- bathrooms are now locked in lobby. Pretty annoying.

Avoid Victor's patisserie on 1st. Especially if you allergic. Waiters not pay attention for you needs.

Ask for a guided tour through the Fairmont Peace Hotel. Martin Ma, your friendly tour guide, has been work at the hotel for 38 years. It's one of the best attractions in Shanghai. Enjoy!

Stunningly beautiful Art Deco hotel, sadly undergoing renovations on the Mezzanine level which lead to banging noises all day in the first floor rooms. Disappointing & hazardous to sleeping in.
