Try the Xinjiang Uyghur Pilaf (better than the pic looks!), the Stir-fried Diced or Shredded noodles (both good). Pomegranate juice is also nice!

Nice staff. Inexpensive. Tasty food but SERIOUSLY dripping with grease and oil. English is limited so you may have to order a few items and just not eat it until you get the dish you want.

Beijing modern classic! Love to bring friends over to discover the place. Best Xinjiang restaurant in town! 串串串串!

People love to hate on this place because it was recommended as the best Xinjiang food but then people decided it was overpriced and not the best chuan. I think it's fine though, just a victim of hype

If it has a chef marking, and looks interesting/yum, order it. Ignore waiter's confusion at your one kebab. Also grab a dark beer to try the easiest drinking dark ever.

Authentic xinjian food, judging from the staff's looks and accent not from culinary experience of the food in question

Considering the hype, the kebabs are so-so - they are large and rather tough. If you prefer your chuan'r street-style (i.e. skinny and spicy) then skip these and get a lamb dish instead.

It's very overpriced and overrated. There are a dozen hole in the wall places in the dongsi hutongs, (and all over Beijing,) that are better and not nearly as expensive.
