Every time I go to NRT I stop at cafe Avion near gates 22-25 and get a teriyaki chicken and rice bowl. Enjoy the view from the window at the bar!

There really IS free airport wide wi-fi access. Ask the information desks to help you connect if it's not working for you. Coverage in most places including the observation deck & both T1 and T2 areas

There is a large public lounge in the basement of Terminal #2. Lots of chairs and plug-ins. Hardly anyone knows about the lounge. And a lot cooler than the oven in the Terminal #1 waiting area.

Even if you arrive early for your flight, Terminal 1 has great shops and food before security + an observation deck. Shops not only have standard touristy knock knacks but also cool trendy gifts!

If you can't immediately check in to your hotel, spend the ¥1,000 (AUD$11.40) for the cleanest toilet/shower room you've ever seen. It's on the second floor here at the airport. You'll appreciate it.

There's a small snack shop a bit ahead of Gate 21, before the escalators to the lounges. Have the Spicy Ramen there, an absolute Bang for your 10 bucks!! You wont regret it!

Nice airport. So many rules, so many parking gates and routes. Long runway (4000m) and nice ILS RUNWAY 16R/16L. Garuda Indonesia use Airbus330 and Boeing777 for Narita.

You can mail letters/postcards at the Information desks. Stamps can be bought at the duty free stores that have postcards, be sure to specify where you want it to go so you get enough postage.

Free wifi and amazing showers on the 3rdF of the central building! More expensive than Haneda to go to Tokyo, but if you choose Narita you must try the super quiet, super confortable Skyliner to Tokyo

If you are United premiere, you'll be treated better at Narita than at any other airport in the world with your own lines for check in, security, baggage claim, and everything else. Great airport too.

Security check requirements are a little different; iPads out of bags, wallet and phone in bags, each computer gets it's own container, and backpacks go in trays. Save some time and be ready!

The shopping mall before security is better than what's on offer on the other side. That said, there are also a reasonable selection of shops & cafes post-security -fine for last minute souvenirs! :)

WELCOME TO TOKYO! The best cell phone rentals are downstairs on the trains level. Speaking of trains, the N'EX & Suica combination is the best pass. Includes Narita Express + Suica card for all subway
