My departure experience: Really quick baggage drop off and security check. But before you head to security check, head up the escalator to a cafe called Satyo ITOEN for matcha ice cream sundae. Yum!

Nice Airport, the building is very new and clean. We took the Monorail to the airport, the monorail station is just a couple of meters away from the baggage drop-off/check-in. Very neat.

Nice airport. Make sure you eat BEFORE going through security as there is almost nothing to buy to eat/drink except bottled drinks & convenience snacks! Wifi works well, lots of sockets & seats.

There's a nice outdoor observation deck on the second floor of the International Terminal where you can watch the planes take-off and land before your flight.

Quite a nice airport, feels very new & clean. Duty free shops & eatery are plentiful after immigration clearance. Recommend those who have extra time to check in earlier & enjoy the facilities here.

Airport museum in terminal 2 is tucked out of sight on the second floor, but if you can find it, admission is free, there are couches inside, it's quiet and there are few people. Nice place to relax.

The best airport to fly in and out of Tokyo. Immigration lines could be better, but that's the only downside. Check out the Edo Village for food and shopping before departure.

I used to think Haneda was Narita's little cousin, but it's the opposite - on the whole, this airport offers far more shopping and food options, and passport control was also significantly faster.

Showers available after exiting baggage area. $10 for 30 incl a drink at adjacent cafe. Great way to kill 30 minutes.

Tokyo Monorail costs ¥490, is incredibly fast and efficient, has baggage racks, and runs right to the terminal entrances. Best way to get to Haneda.

Many stores and resto. My 10 years old girl really likes a shop 'the study room' near an italian resto that serve good pastas and fast service..

Check in early and chill at the observation deck. There's a vendo there with tea and beer. Sit by the ledge or the round tables, or take a nap at the benches.

if you stay all night in the int'l terminal for the flight next morning, sofas in cafe cardinal on 4th floor are the best spot to sleep on.

International departure: Nothing much to eat once you pass security check besides big souvenir shops. Unless you have access to lounges. Cathay Pacific lounge is very nice!

Closest to the city compare to Narita, 15 minutes to Shinagawa. Lot of shop, but only one shop that sells authentic Japan food, and it's always crowded. 😢

Don't walk with a map of the airport. People know you are not from here. Also nevermind... Just be respectful and mature.

Fly here if you can. It's only 30 minutes to Midtown and less than half the time from Narita. Efficient and clean but that's all of Japan anyway!

After lauding, go to toilet !! Haneda airport prepares many toilets between landing gate and immigration. Anyway the thing you have to do at the first in Japan is to pee or poo !!
