    Excellent beef! Service was wonderful! Set menu is a good idea but with lots of food. Try the local ginger ale. Ramen for the kids.

    Special course comes with below items. Yuzu ice cream is one of their homemade specialty dessert. The beef 🍣 is just too mouth watering. Main course which all the meat is juicy and melt in your mouth

    Special course set at ¥5800, min 2 pax per ordering. Haneshita & ribeye the must for ordering. You first start out from the right side of the meat then head towards the best part on the left.

    Don't think about it and just go! This was our best meal in Japan. We got a sampler with a garlic rice portion and everything was delicious. You won't regret it.

    Reservations for dinner are highly recommended, but 2 of us walked in on a Sunday afternoon around 1pm and we're seated immediately.

    If you're a meat lover, skip the courses and order the plates. Beautiful and tender marbled beef! It's a little expensive, but worthy each cent. English speaker staff and menu.

    Wine selection needs to be better. My recommendation is Here beef, quite marbling to my liking, strong beef taste and bring your own fav red.

    This place is delicious, hands down. If you came to Japan to have Japanese beef, put this place on your must-eat list. Just keep in mind you're lucky to get a spot w/o a prior reservation!

    The verdict...after dining at both branches of Yakiniku M (same menu but different types of grill), we find the Hozenji - Hanare branch much better. The beef quality was also better (may be luck?)
