    Great tourist spot. The fish here is obviously amazing. Look out for stands where they shuck oysters the size of your hand for you!

    If you want to check out the tuna auction, you need to be at the market well before 4AM otherwise the slots fill up. You can explore the outer market early but can't get into the fish market til 9AM.

    You can not come to Japan and not visit the local fish market! The fish auction starts before sun rise. Some shops cuts the tuna in front of the shops before noon. It's good to walk around before noon

    Don't worry if you're not hardcore enough to make the tuna auction at 5am. The wholesale market is still fascinating. Just be respectful and don't get in the way!

    If you don't care about the fish auction, you can sleep in and go get yourself some delicious sushi for breakfast once the crowd has lessen around 10am

    You have to spend time there in the morning from 9 to 11, but don't disturb people working there. Afterwards go eat some fresh fish in the restaurants nearby
