Spacious, clean airport with plenty of places to recharge your devices. Super fast free wifi that doesn't require login (>40mbps down, >15mbps up!). Starbucks upstairs in departures (before security)!

My home base. And a very efficient airport given its smaller size compared to HK. Shanghai and Incheon. Better food court after the renovation. Easy link to Taipei city (bus ride under an hour)

No need to take off shoes or remove laptop from bags. Took less than 2 minutes to get through security. As airports go, this one is great!

They have water coolers, bring your empty bottles. If you are connecting, they won't let you bring liquid over but you can drink all of it and then refill once passed the transfer scanning.

If you're in T2, go to the 7-11 on the basement level (before security) to get the authentic and affordable Asian convenient store experience with steamed buns, rice balls, Asian snacks, & other foods

Another airport with free wi-fi. Love it! Don't forget the free wi-fi are also available at many public places in Taiwan. Go to the Visitors Information for more details.

Long airport layovers are rarely good, but TPE is better than most if that is your fate here. You will find great food options, good duty free whisky, and a skyteam lounge with real food.

Beef noodle stew on the second floor next to Burger King. The food was mediocre but satisfying knowing i have a 4hr wait. 250 nt (approx 7.50us)for the noodle, tea, and an assortment of side dishes!

Sun Moon Lake is on the itinerary of every Chinese group tour to Taiwan. This largest body of fresh water in Taiwan is one of the island’s most lovely natural vistas.

Upon arrival, you can purchase a tourist sim card with your passport at the counters nearby. I personally recommend Chunghwa Telecom! Amazing speed and reasonable price..

Check out the different themes at each gate if you have the time! Food isn't anything to die for. The Internet is really fast in corners where there aren't too many people!

Welcome to the airport in the country with nice people, awesome Asian hospitality, cute women, and little pushing-shoving feelings wherever you go... where US$1 is NT$30, and the dumplings are delish!

Easy enough to maneuver through. For those coming from outside of the country: the security "at random" check your bags on the way out of the airport.

Try the basement food court for local food if fastfood isn't your thing. You can also take cheap shuttle bus to taipei from the basement.

Fast security. No shoes off required. Beef noodle soup on second floor is decent and usually a good last farewell meal on the ground in Taiwan.

China Airline's VIP lounge is near the gate D4. I feel it is the best VIP lounge in the world. You have to experience its food and excellent service by yourself. Then, you will agree with me!

Uneventful and efficient airport. When you depart here, you may encounter a brief wait at passport control but generally you will breeze right through this airport.

If you have a carry-on bag that you don't want to lug down two flights of stairs, be prepared to be crammed into a very narrow steel box to get down to your gate. Hope you're not claustrophobic! :)

They should make a separate customs system for the Mainland Chinese. I STRONGLY suggest this and I'm sure a lot of people agree.

This may be my second most frequent visited airport. The custom is quicker than other Taiwan airports and the most modern one. Not enough cafe after custom so you should be prepared for that.
