The Yonghe Temple (Chinese 雍和宮, pinyin Yōng hé gōng, Palace of Peace and Harmony), also known as the "Yonghe Lamasery", or -popularly- the "Lama Temple", is a temple and monastery of the Geluk School of Tibetan Buddhism.
As you progress through the temple, Buddha's get bigger and bigger. Don't forget to pick up an audio tour.
Probably the most overrated sight in all of Beijing, its no reason to visit it if you have ever visit another Tibetan Temple in your life.

This place needs more time to walk in every door and disvover different sections of the temple. Don't miss the museum and the giant statue of wooden buddha!
Thats one of my fav temples in Beijing. If you can come here during the week. And you cant bring your own incense anymore. But you will get it for free. (After you pay 25RMB for entrance)

The hutong across from here is worth the trip alone! Wudaoying hutong is a well hidden gem of beijings expat crowd.
