Closed. Supposed to re-open as something more Frenchified.
My tip would be to eat elsewhere
A martini made with BULLDOG Gin? It's called a Dirty Dog. Go on, try one.
Try the English sticky toffee pudding - Warm and good bottom is like bread pudding.
Try the Pork Belly - How does anyone not like pork fat. Yum.
Try the Beef Tartare - With a qual egg. Beefy goodness. Chunks not ground beef. Very good.
Try the Shrimp And Cheese Grits - Cheesy and wonderful
The shrimp & grits were amazing!
The food here trends towards excellent, but the service is unconscionably slow. As long as you're not in a rush, you'll be fine.
Start with the light and airy Gnocchi and the Shrimp & Grits, then move on to the Short Rib Burger. The Lavender Fizz of a nice bottle of red complements the meal perfectly.

Try the Grits! Great cocktails and service for me was outstanding!
The French toast is ridiculous! Go for it if you like sweet things.
The tuna tartare is booty
This eclectic upscale restaurant has a handful of delicious, vegetarian options. One of the most interesting is the vegetable pot pie, with curry and coconut.
"Periquita" amazing Portuguese red. Similar in body and tannins to a hearty Malbec. Great price/quality ratio.
Get your West Village brunch on! And gawk at the amazing art on the walls.Located on the ground floor of 10 Downing Street, one of the biggest prewar rental buildings in the area.
I was curious to try myself but the service really is quite slow. Food, on the other hand, is great. Try the pork belly
This is a terrific restaurant, worth a visit. The service is a little spotty, the atmosphere is quite nice, and the food is good.
what a terrible service
Incredible one-on-one service. Loved the gnocchi w/asparagus and lobster starter. Hudson Valley Chicken was flavorful!
This has always been a pre-dinner drinks spot for me. And will continue to be that. Not overly impressed with their food. The wine list is impressive.
Cheese plate is a good fun idea for an appetizer. Service was slow but the chicken was delicious!
Short rib burgers and suckling pig... Soooo good!!!
Service suuuuuucks. We've been waiting 40 minutes for our food.
BLT fail. Too much bacon, bread to flimsy, kumquat jam not an added bonus.
Entire meal is forgettable. Would be a great restaurant in a city without new york's food scene
creative new menu features fresh pasta every day: Lamb Ragout, poached roasted pear—super flavorful, see photos here:http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=270815&id=765634189&l=48ff961e36
oyster selection is great, cheap red tastes like brandy and watch out for cold and raw mussels, salmon and steak...
The fennel and leek risotto is a must. The crowed is not the greatest I enjoyed looking at the boring guys trying to pickup equally boring girls. Not a good place for Manhattan people watching
Burger is top notch!
French toast with bananas was a great brunch item
Sweetbreads with corn custard and Hen of The Woods mushrooms. Do it..,
Mussels are wack. Cheese plate delicious. Can't mess up oysters, so they were good. Wired that the cerignola olives were hot, not warm but hot. Plus; they have Ettienne Dupont Cider. Very delicious an
Pretty solid fare tho not over the top amazing. Nice location with the windows open (balmy evening)
Great space. Good food. Wait staff need some work. Felt a little hurried.
Great bar and cocktails! Fun ambiance. Food has a ways to go and the service can be spotty. Still love the idea.
Nicest people work at 10 Downing. Just had the best time hanging with bartender and owner. Great food too!
hungry as hell
good this is a good food
try the food
have the uovo ravioli w prosciutto and favas. amazing.
order the steak! best I have ever had.
