serving up great food and stellar drink everyday till 1:30am booze hours: 5p-2a food hours: 5p-1:30a happy hours: 5p-7:30pm Brunch: Sat-Sun 11:30am-3:30pm
It's all about the brunch. The hashbrowns are fantastic, like a gourmet McDonalds hash brown (don't lie and tell me you don't have a nostalgic taste for those) and the mushroom omelet is perfection.
This 16-year-old handcrafted cocktail pioneer hidden off of Broadway caters to an old-timey crowd (no TVs here), so it's no surprise their Old Fashioned stays close to the first recorded recipe.
Very trendy and in an aly way that is hard to find. Drinks are creative and the liqour selection is way beyond amazing and extensive. The bartenders are friendly and you should have The Blue Moon Redu
The cocktails are delicious, just ask your waitress or bartender to suprise you; the food is equally yummy, cheap by comparison to other places; get the tempura avocado or the burger dirty south style
Super busy on weekends, more accessible during late nights and weekdays. Cocktails are imaginative and bartenders are super knowledgeable. Kitchen is open late with always delicious food.
Loved so much about @15Romolo. Back alley ambiance, adorb hipster bartenders, insane cocktail list & killer locally sourced eats. My order: Troubled Waters, Tempura Avocado & Romolo Salad a pulledpork
First of all I don't like chicken. However the baricuas wings are the shit they are adorned with coconut, chili, lime and cilantro. Double yum!! Plus the cocktail program is fantaboulos!
Hands down this is one of the best beverage lists in the country. The cocktails are impeccable (Imperial Suckerpunch, The Firebird, and the Knock Knock were our top picks).
The ever-changing cocktail and brunch menu keeps things interesting.. If you're there for brunch, make sure you get the waffle shots! Definitely one of SF's hidden gems.
Had a sweet gale ale, a rare beer brewed with an herb that went out of style in the 16th century. Reputed to have stimulating effects other beers don't...
If you show up at 15 Romolo between 5:30 and 6:30 New Year's Eve, I'll buy you one of their excellent Sazeracs, they have a good menu also.
Tucked in an alley behind Stripper Row, 15 Romolo is a quiet, nondescript speakeasy that serves light, local foods with strong, tasty cocktails.
All the food is good. Pixie is awesome. Racer 41 is awesome. Pimm's cup is double awesome. Brandon is awesome. So is Josh. I love this bar!
Cute cocktail bar. Also a good spot for brunch. Look for the Romolo street sign and walk up the hill to find this hidden spot.
If you don't know what you want, ask the bartender what should go with your favorite flavor (mine is brandied cherries). These kids make good drinks.
This is one of the best date bars in the city! Tip: take an Uber in North Beach for FREE (up to $20) anytime between now until Friday 12/20/13 using the promo code NorthBeachSF. (Excludes TAXI). #NBSF
Totally off the beaten path and completely worth it. Delicious and reasonably priced artisanal cocktails and food--get the Pimm's Cup!
Best brunch in North Beach!!! The skillet hash is delicious! And the punch is worth coming back for every time! Punch Drunk Brunch FTW!
This may be minimally helpful, but there's an Icelandic beer on the menu that's relatively cheap and very good -- worth ordering
It's a little out of the way, but this is a chilled place on weekdays, and a fun bar on weekends. Just another decent bar.
surrounded by tasteless strip clubs, but worth coming here for great signature drinks. surprisingly not really crowded on saturday night.
We met Jake the chef...dude cooks some mean burgers. We had the 'dirty burger'...i recommend it highly (along with the sangria!)
It can be kinda a shitshow, but they have a very good cocktail menu and efficient service, which makes up for it.
Took an hour (from time of ordering) to get 2 drinks, food was just ok. I'd avoid during happy hour. Aside from the slowness, it was crazy loud.
They have pitchers of Pimm's cup and Sangria for happy hour. We really liked the grilled octopus at dinner.
Hidden gem in a bit so nice part of town. They will seat you which keeps the crowds down. Great service too.
I love this neighborhood gem. Great, low price brunch. The pork belly skillet and housemade sangria are delicious.
The fried chicken sandwich was on another level. Get it with no pickles and spinach and you'll want another when done!
Gem of a bar – dark and classy – go on a bustling Friday or a quiet Monday to sip their signature drink Track 42 and catch up with an old friend over some tapas.
15 Romolo has the nicest ambience. Mellow, cozy but not claustrophobic like those casual chic bars on the east coast.
The pulled pork here is amazing. Glazed in fatty goodness. The owner is from Texas so this is no surprise.
Nice cocktail bar with knowledgable bartenders. Order a Last Word made with Fernet, you'll love it.
Try the croque madame for brunch. Or get the bone marrow fritters and add them into a yo mama burger.
The veggie burgers here are insanely good, even if you're a carnivore. (Oh yeah and they make good cocktails.)
The jukebox promises 7 plays for $2, but have me only 5. Also, did you know that "jukebox" is the highest scoring word with which one can open a game of Scrabble?
Get the white Sangria and a few apps from the menu with a friend, enjoy the open speakeasy ambience
This is my favorite bar in the city. The atmosphere is amazing and the bartenders are out of this world!
The American 76 and the Brazilian are the cocktails to try here!
Pork sliders, $24 sangria pitcher tip 7:30pm and great fried with madras curry Katsup
Great cocktail and beer selection. Nice dark, speakeasy type feel off the beaten path.
Best bloody mary I've ever tasted, which is saying a lot, seein' as I'm from north cackalacky!
Beer is good. Food is espetacular! Place is cool! I recommend!
Get the peanut butter burger. "Yo mama style". Add bacon. Don't add cheese. Trust me.
Don't forget to check the specials board for some great drink ideas. Or just get the Pimm's Cup.
