Great gym. Underground makes it feel a bit like a bunker though.

Coming from the now defunct Ballys T.F. I was really impressed with this 24hr fitness gym. This flagship store has it all, friendly staff, top notch machines and happy clientele.
Weight room is gross after 11am. Since when is it cool to munch on and spill freaking almonds at the leg press?!?!
Gym etiquette has been in decline here. Staff doesn't help either. Good luck finding the weight you're looking for.
Clean gym with good equipment. Nice staff and generally friendly and good looking customers. Yoga with Corey is awesome and Anton is a great trainer.

Hungry? EAT. Food is not and never will be the enemy. You are allowed to eat when you want. Just be smart about what you eat.
20 step-ups (each leg), 30 squats, 15 jump squats, 25 walking lunges (10 each leg) !! Rest and repeat 3-5x to really tone those #legs.

LADIES: lifting weights is not going 2 make u buff, bulky & manly. U are a woman, u will build lean muscle which will help you burn fat.
If you want to take a nighttime spin class, be sure to arrive at least 10 minutes before to claim a bike, particularly on Mon. and Tues. We LOVE Zack's Tuesday 6pm class & Pete's Monday classes.

Stumbled into aqua boot camp with Damien. Class is great (not to mention free) and Damien is the man.
Peak hours blow.
Don't take weights from the rack and bring them somewhere else without returning. That's a D-Bag move.

KEONI's class DRENCHED on Tues and Thurs are seriously the best workouts. It's filled with both men & women, good music, and I always leave drenched in sweat! The instructor is amazing & a hottie! :)
Take Keoni,Natalie,or Nikki's classes for a hight intensity and challenging workout !!
They have a 7-day free pass promotion that I highly recommend. And very convenient Midtown location.
Very crowded from 6-9pm. Underground gym which makes it very humid with not good circulation throughout (especially in the locker room). Not saying Equinox is worth the $$$, but makes you think...
Take a class with Natalie, Keoni, or Nikki. They're the best!
Just got my locker broken into and wallet stolen.. Make sure you don't leave your wallet in the locker, even if its locked.
This place is terrible. Never coming here again.
The classes are hardcore! Take one and test your own fitness.
This one is close to work and it has a pool. The one on Crosby Street in SoHo is closer to where I live.
Go buy a padlock before you come- they've replaced all the keypad lockers with BYO padlock!

They are changing the locker room locks here. Some of the lockers now require you to bring your own locks

Good luck getting a locker. Most of them are broken. Sometimes I wish they just had the old fashion bring your own locks
If u have a crazy schedule it's perfect, you can work out whenever. Don't complain about crowding and waiting when u show up during rush hour. Don't like lines? Don't live in New York City.
The locker room is a place to change not eat. Change, then go some place and eat. It's a tight space, be considerate.
Almost impossible to find an open locker. They are all either locked or broken. EVEN WHEN THR GYM IS EMPTY! They need to fix this!
