The Restaurant at The Standard, Downtown LA is a California brasserie serving New American cuisine 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The vibrant interior of this Los Angeles eatery features yellow booths, a diner style counter, and a charming outdoor terrace.
Very yellow interior. Food was good. I got the salmon entree. Service was not so good.
You can order drinks here and take them into the loungey area in the lobby.

Good coffee here!
I've been going here since 2003 for brunch on Saturdays and Sundays--finally they've hired a server who is professional and attentive. Sit outside, under the umbrellas in Kim's section.
The menus rotate as the hours pass. Always a good choice!
Portobello fries. The BEST ever!!!!!!!
Food is surprisingly solid. Black gnocchi and "the catch" (their take on fish and chips) are stand-outs. The complimentary bread and butter are really good also.
Hey there! We want to see your pics! Send them to email@example.com and if they are above standard we'll feature them here:
Try a glass of Veuve and a burger to start the night off right.
Have the black gnocchi.
Get a chimay ale here. Pronounced (she-may) because... She may.
