Make sure to visit San Jalisco Mexican restaurant if you're in the mood for authentic Mexican food. It's on 20th and S. Van Ness, not too far from BART stop. It's my all time favorite.
It has been rumored that at one point, the escalators here were operational!
Go to 25th and the third for an awesome mma class! El Niño Training Center
BART in general has a unique odor to it. Oh yeah people put their shoes on the seats so I dont sit on them no more.
If you're getting off at Embarcadero for FiDi make sure to get on on the second-to-last cart for quickest access to the escalator/stairs
Escalator is always broken!
Pay attention to which train you need to get on. There are signs and make sure the stops are getting closer to your destination.
Take a moment out of your morning commute to listen to the talented musician who plays and sings at the bottom of the escalator.
The trains here are better than the ones at 16th
Watch your colors! Avoid wearing red or blue.

escalators are almost always off in the middle of the day so be ready to go up the stairs to the street
La santaneca salvadorean restaurant on mission has the best pupusas!

For a urine like pee smell be sure to stick nose close to dirty fabric seats
Don't get here last minute. The ticket machines are always broken!
Beware of the crazies

try Big Mouth Burgers on Valencia and 24th. everything is great about that place!
Don't walk by Taqueria San Jose without trying a taco al pastor. Best on late nights with an horchata.
El Farolito, kitty-corner to the station, has IMO the best burritos in SF. Get past the sketchy exterior/interior and find cheap, amazing food! Yum!
Watch out for the crackheads after dark...but a great place to be.
Don't forget about Phat Philly at 24th and Valencia. Best Cheesesteak west of the Mississippi.
You're less than a 10 min. walk to Collective, a men's & women's clothing store that specializes in vintage and repurposed clothing on Valencia
Try the gourmet grilled sausages nearby at Rosamunde's.
Watch out for the pigeons and their shit.
Papilote's is just around the corner on 24th between valencia and guererro...Yummy burritos after a hard days work!

For great coffee, try the Ritual Roasters nearby (1026 Valencia St.) Its cult-like following is devoted to the seasonal, hand-picked, fresh-roasted beans.
