312 is a great place to go for any meal in the heart of downtown Chicago. The tortellini brodo is a great light lunch option.

I always seem to have good luck with the fish at 312. Most recently I ate salmon - crispy crunchy on the outside, medium rare on the inside. Yum!

Appetizers and wine are great. The cooks need to lay off on the salt and butter for the entrees, and the place would be amazing.

An Italian restaurant in the heart of the Loop where dogs are welcome on the patio. Dogs even get complimentary doggie vitamin water.

Don't go here if Kosher or you'll be disappointed. All but one menu item had pork or shellfish, and they won't substitute with most items because a lot of their sauces are premixed with pork in them.

Try the Orecchiette Tartufate. Mild Italian sausage, wild mushrooms, black truffle paste and fontina cream sauce. Worth getting off a diet for.
