Would be nice if they had some benches in the freaking lobby to sit while u wait before a show. Not the most inviting lobby.

Great guest lectures for an affordable price. I saw Annie Leibovitz there twice!
The pool gets overly crowded because it’s not that big. However, it is clean, not overly chlorinated and has great lap hours.

As one of the Upper East Side’s leading cultural centers, the Y hosts classes, lectures, parties, and workshops on all topics.
Get tickets online. The box office ladies are...very angry. Avoid.
If you're a photog, make sure you visit the website 4their photo policy bc they don't allow "outside" photographers. Its a really big deal.
Pool nice and quiet after 9pm.
I've enjoyed cultural events, such as a discussion with Neil Gaiman, in the past and look forward to seeing journalists such as Ethan Bronner and David Rohde here.
