Best Kept (not so secret) Secret, is that on both sides(corners) of concourse 2E there are amazing lounge style couches with the best views of the tarmac. Great for airplane spotting.

Certainly not a good or friendly design ! Horrible access to Schengen gates if u travel outside Europe. Actually for its size one if the worst in Europe !

    The idiots airport ever

  • Safee A.

Try to avoid CDG airport, as usual, only one border control desk working and about 3 flights, imagine waiting time, staff are very rude, and simply no one cares.

The worst airport I have ever visited. During transfer I had to leave transfer zone and go back and pass security and passport control twice. The rudest security control ever (Terminal 2D)

If you're taking Uber, don't look for the car. Your driver will probably meet you in person near an arrivals door.

Not much going on in Terminal 3 (WOW Air). A cafe, a duty free store and a Relay. Free wifi! No outlets. Charging station was broken at time of posting.

Air canada maple leaf lounge is small. No soap in washroom. No reason to be here. Regular waiting areas are far more pleasant

For gate 27 there is no shopping after security gates. Eat and shop before heading to gate

For an airport this size the dining options are seriously limited. Different options at gates F40-50-ish vs. F20 etc. so shop around if you can be bothered.

Free wifi with registration but you may have to reopen your web browser very so often 'to reconnect' (i.e. to look at an advert).

At Terminal 2 shopping may be OK. At Terminal 1 shopping is virtually non-existent. Watch out for the prices on alcohol. They will add your country's alcohol tax! Shop in town or back home!

If you miss a flight (Air France) contact the customer desk. They gave an alternate flight to Basel although for next day and from Paris Orly. Vouchers for hotel, airport transfers & food included.

Missed my connecting flight to Basel while coming from Dublin. The incoming aircraft was late and layover 55 min. Bus transfers and distance between 2E/2G lead to missed flight. Plan properly.

Huge airport!Terminal 2E is beautifully built with lots of shops. However if you have connection to 2G and have a non-EU passport brace for long checking at border control. Plan connections properly.

While CDG is light years ahead of my home airport, New York's JFK, it's nonetheless a sprawling, baffling, and inefficient mess for a major world city airport. Fly through Amsterdam.
