Love the Nasi Lemak and refreshing juices ! Love the shop " fatty Cheong " because of their duck !
the first fish ball noodle shop will have long queue, i think it's over-rated. try the claypot rice. popiah is not bad too.
Yes! The durian and mango ice cream from JinJin desert is very authentic.
Fatty chong char siew, duck noodles wow wow west, boon tiong chicken rice, jin jin dessert, hokkien me and ba chor mee! Skip orh jian, char kway tiao, prawn noodles and zhe char overall.

Avoid Yong Kee fishball noodles & gogo beanz soya milk & grass jelly :(
There are some new stores. Penang Fried Kway Teow is good.
The longest queue is the dessert shop!
So many good food but so little space in stomach.
Chapati, kheema and awesome spinach!
The go-to hawker market when in bukit merah.
Go for reasonably priced good Penang food at Jason's, #01-112. It's open Tue-Sun, lunch & dinner time only.
Lots and lots of interesting stalls to fill up your tummy!!!
Finally found very late night (almost midnight) proper dinner meal here after work. You know its a Monday night when the usual popular supper stalls close early or having their rest day of the week.
Looks like new liquor law doesn't affect patrons as long as they buy beer from drinks stalls & drink within the spacious food centre compound with strong fans & lights, eventhough its pass the 10.30pm
Good hawker food at amazingly low prices.
Definitely the roast meat store (Fatty Cheong)
Very nice and good selection of dishes from the malay food stall Nusa & Tara (#01-22). Always has a long queue during lunch time.
Bee Garden - sooooooooo not recommended. What you get is sooooooo different from the picture. I understand picture is for illustration purpose, but dessert served is way under realistic expectation.
Fatty Cheong 肥仔祥 @ #01-120: One of the recommended Siew Yoke (Roasted Meat) & Char Siew stall from food reviews. No stocks for walk-in customer on CNY eve, only entertain pre-ordered customers.
Wow Wow West Genuine #01-133 Open: 10:30am to 8:30pm Rest on Sun
Chicken with ginger and fungus from traditional Chinese soup stall and popiah
东记 01-19 very good la mian and dumings
Noodles and dumplings at 东记 01-19
Assam laksa, korean pork belly
Ghim Moh Carrot Cake (stall #01-140) has shifted here !
Wantan mee: I prefer the normal taste fr Cantonese Seng Kee #01-111, over Swee Kee #01-39 which has a strange-tasting sauce
Fatty Cheong. Closest to Hong Kong you'll get!
#01-34, strongly recommended, cheap n taste good..
In case you miss the corner, fatty cheong roasted duck rice is at #01-120, near posb atm
Haven't eaten at such dirty food centre for awhile, floor is full of litter flown down from tables, and tables full of debris left from cloth. Eww... I'll try to avoid here for late night dinner.
Look out for these 2 drinks/desserts stalls with funny names!Sipei COOL boasts of No. 1 Teh Bing, while GambaTEH serves Taiwan-style milk tea and also waffles with ice cream :)
#01-13 Tiong Bahru Yi Sheng Hokkien Mee; uncle takes his time to prepare the noodles. You will be rewarded for your patience with a delicious plate of hokkien mee that i rate as one of the best in SG.
The taiwan porridge her portion so small and exoensive. Worse is i found hair in the food. Disgusting !
Next time if u have claypot rice, try buy some otah from 2 stall away. Eat it together, the otah will give additional texture to your claypot rice. Try it next time!
Tiong Bahru Yi Sheng Fried Hokkien Prawn Mee #01-13, my fav Hokkien Mee in Singapore.
Family gathering ytd and ordered chong pang chicken wings, jin jin dessert and zheng lin char kuay teow. Were all fantastic and tantalizing to the food lovers. A hub of fabulous food!
Traditional char kuay teow at 01-18 is a great addition to the great food along the row!
Tiong Bahru Fried Hobkien Prawn Noodle is awesome. Must try...
Recommend the char kuay teow opposite hokkien mee. A good smoky taste and cockles infused mee. Must try!
