Abu Zaad offers a rare chance to sample Syrian food in London. Cheerfully decorated with framed, illuminated transparencies of Damascene vistas, the restaurant is known for the high quality of the authentic Syrian food, affordable prices and friendly staff.
Absolutely incredible Syrian food: somewhere between Turkish and Moroccan. Highly recommend the falafel and chicken tagine. Food only came to £10 a head - incredibly good value! Good green tea too!
Very tasty shawarma. Would recommend an ayran with it and a mix of baklava as desert.
Down-to-earth atmosphere, fantastic Syrian food, large portions and very good value. Serve pretty good, cheap falafel wraps during the day - not as good as Mr. Falafel but less than half the price.
Falaffel wrap and tabouleh are real winners :)
Good food, good service, wide choice of vegetarian dishes. Great value!
Their Shawarma wrap is mouth watering, best one I tried in London.. Period!
Eat a whole lamb; you know you want to...
U should try fettah makous
Good value, chicken shish shawarma and drinks for £2.75

Try the Maklooba, really good!
Very slow and rude service. Don't order the stuffed courgette - it looks like a soup with gerkins and doesn't taste any better!
Don't get the veggie tapas stuff, boring and bland. Juices are really tasty tho. Lemon and Mint :-)
I had the shawarma chicken wrap. For only £3 it's an amazing place for good food.
Mixed grill is a winner. Best kofte and lamb shish I've had outside Egypt. The baby chicken is super tasty and tender too.
£2.50 for an awesome Chicken Shwarma wrap. I eat them weekly.
Food here is fantastic and great value. Your mayor is back by popular plebiscite!
good food, very good prices however wanted to sit in at lunch they charged me £1 and did not even get a plate and drink brought to me at end of meal.
Best Syrian joint in town!
Absolutely fantastic food. Loved the deserts...
