Great work spot, if you get a seat at the community table. Fast WiFi but you need a code to access, just ask any server. Oh and bring a long sleeve, it gets cold. (3 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more

I'm a huge fan of Ace Hotels. Love the atmospheres and hidden gems in all their locations. This space has great cocktails and even a photobooth. Hard to find a seat but if you do, stay all night.

one of the coolest chilled hotel lobby spots, with old period furniture mixed with modern decor, always busy, a fun place to people watch and drink, check out the photo booth and cool super graphics!

you don't need one of those slips for the wi-fi. on the part where it asks you if you're a guest, just say "yeah", write in some author's name or whatever you're in the mood for, and a random room#

Serving specialty cocktails and late-night salty bar snacks like crispy pork scratchings, the bar attracts a diverse crowd. Local bands are on hand every Sunday evening, with DJs every other night.

Great ambience and very big tables to work with your laptop. Free Wifi, you just have to ask someone because there is a new pass every day. They give little white square cards with the pass.

The existing architecture of the space combined with the loungy relaxed decor and communal tables give this place a relaxed feel, especially when the DJ spin's some classics!

When the Ace moved into the the landmarked 1904 Breslin Hotel, they were not allowed to modify the existing walls. If you look carefully, you can see that the lobby is actually a set.

Drinks are overpriced, cocktails are half-assed, bartenders are sexy but "turn-n-burn". I don't care cause it's beautiful and a fantastic place to get some work done!

This is where you find the hipsters, geeks, startups and investors. Free WiFi, good coffee around the corner. Take a seat, get in a stroll and watch others work hard during a coffee break

Here for coffee? Lines for stumptown always wrapped around the corner- make fiends with the waitress instead. (but if you bitch about the slow wifi you won't get your espresso). Ever.

Go Sunday evenings when it's chill and you can actually get a seat. There's usually live music around 9 or 10. It's my favorite way to unwind from a weekend.

Horrid experience : bar man served guys and would not serve us and bar woman refused to make mojitos. We ended up with horrible drinks at an outrageous price. => should have stayed at the Breslin.

Bars that automatically add gratuity suck. The Ace Hotel lobby bar adds 18%, which is ridiculous because that's not even a good tip. Normally I'd tip more but I resent the auto tip.

Don't take her to the bar up the street when this is only steps from your room. In the AM, grab coffee from Stumptown to start your day. Brought to you by the THE EXPENDABLES opening August 13!

DON'T pay the 18% gratuity-it is recommended not required & 100% rip-off! Better still, order your drinks from the Breslin bar-better drink options, less attitude, & no automatic 18% added!!
