I love staying here. It's a nice hotel with nice amenities and great service, just differently flavored than how your parents would define that. Except actually, my mom loves it. Tip tho$e bellhops!
Edgyboutique hotel with a great bar/lobby area plus food choices (Breslin, Stumptown Roasters coffee) which you can also get as room service. Similar to the Hoxton or Standard hotels.

Very 'cool' but expensive place to stay. The lobby is a free-for-all so, as a guest, you don't feel particularly special. Good location & really helpful (and handsome) staff.
Heard a story once that a guy walked into the lobby on a busy afternoon and announced, "I need help with the app I'm building" and by the time he left he had a full dev team and new investors.
The lobby is inviting with many customers from stumptown coffee roasters sharing the space. Pretty central location a couple of subway stops away from Times Sq in the north and Union Sq in the south.
the ace hotelphoto booth never disappoints. one of the coziest and sexiest spots in the city. go here often. for coffee, drinks, dinner at the breslin, or great conversation.
Adorable hotel with awesome vibe and a comfy bed. Room was little warm but the shower was heaven!! Definitely recommend staying here and will be back. BONUS Stumptown coffee AND Le Labo next door!
What a cool lobby; funky; very rock and roll; love that anyone can just stop in to hang (seating permitted). There is a bevy of great adjoining restaurants and a cool lobby bar. And a photo booth!
Great place for a casual work meeting bc of the coffee, but hard to get desk space or plug in - too crowded. Also pretty loud - bring headphones to focus!
There's a Stumptown next door for coffee, and - as long as you're able to grab a space on one of the comfy sofas - you can sit and work from the Ace's lobby area for as long as you want.
I love the the lobby and Opening Ceremony but had a terrible hotel stay there - very loud construction noise across the street woke me up at 6:30am and the Ace staff didn't do anything to address it.
The rooms riff on a rock star’s pad, with deskside turntables, old records, blank sheet music and—of course—custom-made Gibson guitars propped in corners (guitar strings are sold at the front desk). Read more
The mini room is only 150 square feet. Upgrade to a larger room for a desk and larger bathroom. The shower is fantastic. Bar scene is a little hipster. Good wifi but general slow service.
