The bread is great. But cash only is a huge pain. Make sure you bring some real money with you.
The sour dough cheese rolls are better than the Cheese Board's. (But don't tell anyone I said so!)
Epi Pain- simply amazing.
I was just shocked when I first saw it since it's really hard to find a real bakery in U.S. Usually there's a line in front of the bakery on account of the small area inside. But so worth it!
The lines can be long but oh so worth it.

The Pain Au Levain seems to be the go-to classic bread. Not very sour tasting, but a well-rounded delight.
Cash (or check??) only, as posted on a sign on the front window. If you're like most people & don't go about your day reading small window signs, snarky locals will happily embarrass you at checkout.
Get some bread and brie and head up to Yosemite for the day.
