If you fly outside Shengen, you are better to do shopping before the security check. Once passed, there is no way back and there is only one shop.
Get to or from the city on the train for as little as 1€. Leaves from T2.
Clean, well-designed airport. A bit difficult to get to using public transportation, though. Grab a bite to eat and take it to the outdoor terrace.
Terminal 1 has great space
Looking for your tax refund? You need to get the customs stamp BEFORE going through security checkpoint. You MUST get the customs stamp on your receipts before hitting the tax return office.
Great connection to the city center thanks to the Aerobus.
It was about 12am when we arrive at the airport and it was so quiet! Don't forget to be at the aerobus stop on the time. It works until 01.05am from airport and 12.30am from Plaça de Catalunya.
Terrible toilet conditions. Several men's toilets closed and the ones in use are without toilet brushes and look awful.
Love that this airport actually has nice stores, in terminal 1 you can find Zara, Massimo Dutti, Lacoste... Amazing shop selection, for the first time i bought clothes in an airport.
The most spam-ridden free wifi signup in the world. Avoid.
Close to the city center.
Barcelona is home to the Parc Guell which was designed by Gaudi. It is a beautiful and intricate garden of stairs, sculptures and viaducts, and was named a monument of world interest by UNESCO.
Drinking fountains are at the entrance to the toilets. If you have a bottle you can top up!
There is only 30 mins free-wifi and it takes almost 30 mins to connect :)

When Spain wants to know why it's economy is shit, it should look no further than the placement of the glacial passport control in regards to its duty free shopping.
is ridiculously price is huge different 4 euros plus in any bottle u like to take .sweet ones no comments and the still said duty free or tax free. .. please do you shopping before the aiport.
Terminal 2 charging spot: burger king
Best facilities ever, even beds, but the food is disappointing. Though they have ice cream
When flying internationally (Delta / U.S.) make sure to check out the shops before going through passport control. We went to our gate only to discover one cafe and a duty free shop. That's it.
Take an empty bottle of water to the airport. Evian costs 3:40 a bottle.. More than beer. Rip off airport. Yes it is.
Nit a lot to do, but the Tapas are quite good while you wait. When arriving, buy your bus ticket in the machine. It saves you a little time
Very spacious, lots of shops but make sure you do your purchases before you pass the passport control for the non Schengen area. There is no turning back after this point! Free wifi for 30 minutes.
the only disadvantage in the airport that the baggage take forever to reach baggage claim
Huge and polite!! #ciaosperovipiaccia #barcelonamq
One of the largest and busiest airports in Spain. Well organized and clean.
Love the way you fly <3
Avoid flying with Vueling!, it's delayed "for sure"!
So the only place at the airport to buy a 10 ride bus ticket (1/2 price rides), is some smoke shop 20 meters outside the airport. Weird!
One of the coolest airports! Great connections to the city. Make sure you speak a bit of Spanish or know where you are going.
Unloading of luggage takes forever.
Eat before going through security - food choices in the gate area (at least for international departures) are limited.
The airport is huge with a large selection of brands to shop from. The security line is fairly quick however the check in lines can queue up a bit! Though overall it's a modern airport.
The only thing good here is the architecture. Horrible aptly describes the food, WiFi, lounges and restaurants. The less time spent at this airport, the better.
Cracking airport, no mither at security. The outside area is fantastic.
No announcement while flight delayed.
The R2 train takes you to Barcelona.
The best way to get to the city is Aerobus for only above 5 euros. Between the terminals there is free shuttle.
Tax free is very simple and takes almost no time
Spacious, comfort & authentic views
The customs office to get your tax free forms is on the far left of the check in desks (go left when entering Terminal 2). There are sliding doors to enter; if it doesn't open, buzz on the exit side.
A great and spacious airport to do some duty free shopping. If you are booked on a connecting flight and planning on buying alcohol/liquids, be sure to notify the cashier to seal the bag.
Terminal 1 waaaaay to far from renfe
What modern airport only gives 30 min of free WiFi? Come on Barcelona! You have free WiFi in the city but not the airport?
Niceeee. Hope everything will be okie.
Terrible place to spend the night waiting. Drafty, cold and uncomfortable aluminum benchea with arm rests that prevent you from lying down. And there was construction going on through the entire night
Amazing Airport and Friendly staff you can definitely spend hours walking around.
You have to walk a mile at least to get to your gate.
A sleek and efficient airport. A pleasure to walk through.
