What modern airport only gives 30 min of free WiFi? Come on Barcelona! You have free WiFi in the city but not the airport?
  • Tim O.
depending on which part of the airport your flight is going from you either have loads of ships and restaurants to choose from or 3 to choose from. Nightmare if your flights delayed.

Daniel:I work at BCN Airport. It is a non smoking airport, there are no rooms for smokers and no garden in A building.I think you mean the outside garden of Terminal 1, where you can smoke.;-)

If you are flying with a smaller, European airline like Ryanair, make sure you print your boarding passes before (they charge). Also get there early because airport is huge.

You better hurry up and arrive at least a couple of hours before your flight. They sometimes love to create a disastrous clusterfuck at the airport, so it may save you from being late for your plane!

Here is a real tip: avoid vueling. Never trust their schedule. Their usual procedure : wait until boarding time to announce delays and never announce a long delay once: always announce 30min a time

If going for tax-free the customs stamp is actually before passport control and the refund booth is after. You can't get the refund sans stamp so make sure to get it or repeat passport control!

Really poor food/beverage/shopping selection at T2. Definitely not on par with other main European hubs (leagues of difference vs e.g. CPH)

It's a mall that happens to have some air traffic going through it, not that that's a bad thing, enjoy the walks to and from the gates!
