Duty free is way overpriced and expensive. Stay away.
If you are last minute shopping for Havaianas before your leave Rio - buy them outside the gates. Inside they are 50% more expensive and few variants.
Of all big city airports that I've been, this one is, by far, the worst. They are trying to improve, and a lot of construction is going on. I hope that in the next couple of years they fix this
Terribly designed airport. But there is 60 min of free wifi
Very well organized and clean. Don't have any complains. It just works.
Airport with free wifi
You can use free WiFi for 60min.
Some boys that clean the shoes dont ask before they full your shoes with some shit. So i think they should be forbidden to bother the clients there. Some security please!
Dear gringo, I'm sorry for this shitty AirPort. It's a shame that this could Be your first Experience in Brazil. We are better than this. I promise.
So lame here. It looks like semi—abandent airport in faraway city in Eastern Europe
If you know who to find, you can get good deal on money exchange. Wink wink
The renovations are taking too long, can't believe an airport this big doesn't have places to charge cell phones. Limited food options. WiFi is free only for 60 minutes.
Worst international airport
\o/ lets go!
Always on my mind and in my heart coming and going to everywhere in the world!
Few options to eat in the boarding area.
One of the best airports I have been in Brazil. It's like a shopping centre. Beautiful, lots of shops, food, and wifi is free and fast
Freaking Internet doesn't work! 😾
At least Terminal 2 has 1 shop. They construct a café!
Take good care with traffic in Rio. Friday's when you can need up to 4 ours to get there from downtown.
Great airport. Now with GRU Terminal 3 on, I'm still thinking on pros and cons.
Pastatore pizza at terminal 2 food court. Decent pizza, large size for R$ 36,90, two can eat.
Lets's go to Brasilia
No WiFi within this airport, and don't even try to exchange your money here, they'll rip you off. Bad and old airport
Nothing inside the terminal to eat except a few extremely overpriced places. But they have free internet through the Mastercard wifi. Just have to login every 30 mins
Once you check in and pass by the passport control there is nothing more 2 see or to do... Almost nothing to eat, drink and just 1,5 shops ore something like that :s (terminal 2)
T1 is terrible - airside has no access to the Lounge, they don't have the air con on. Food options are basically zero 😕
Worst sound system in boarding lounge...be aware because gates changes a lot!!
This airport is below average! For real Rio deserves better!
All banks/ATMs are grouped in one area of the terminal. Prepaid SIM cards not available for foreigners.
Do not arrive too early for your flight ... You may be stuck ground-side, and the air-side options for entertaining yourself are even worse.
If lucky enjoy the city lights of rio at night ! 😝
City is nice airport is simply not
When arriving, go upstairs to take cabs at departure. The cabs waiting for people to arrive are usually smartasses
Keeps getting worst , unbelievable...
Vitória here i go.
Try to no stay longer than two hours waiting at the airport is nothing to do here and is not comfortable
Few and expensive food options.
On my way to cancun
