You are forced to pass thru shops after sec inspection even when running to your gate. If you loose it, need to go all way back to the airliner shop and then walk all again.$mart guys laughing at us!

The main airport of Rio! about 20km from the center, it's nothing special, you would expect much more development for this old international airport, but at least there's free wifi, belezaaa!

Avoid exchanging currency here like the plague. One of the booths wanted to apply a 50% service fee when I tried to buy Chilean pesos!

New renovations make this place feel like a shopping mall instead of an airport - in a good way! Little Mama does quick yet tasty pizza.

I want to scream ever time I am forced to walk through the highest priced "duty free" stores to get to my gate. Worse than any Casino in Las Vegas!

New International arrival, terminal 2, has an absurd corridor on exit door, to force people thru taxi booths. Terrible. If someone stops, it is a jam. Unbelievable.

Give yourself plenty of time to walk to the gate. I was not impressed when landing I had to walk like half a mile around the airport to get out to immigration.

With renovations all over, it's not always clear where to go, and to ask for directions can take a while since not everyone speak english, and the ones who do are not always kind. Be patient.

If you are last minute shopping for Havaianas before your leave Rio - buy them outside the gates. Inside they are 50% more expensive and few variants.

Of all big city airports that I've been, this one is, by far, the worst. They are trying to improve, and a lot of construction is going on. I hope that in the next couple of years they fix this

Some boys that clean the shoes dont ask before they full your shoes with some shit. So i think they should be forbidden to bother the clients there. Some security please!

The renovations are taking too long, can't believe an airport this big doesn't have places to charge cell phones. Limited food options. WiFi is free only for 60 minutes.
