Arrival level almost empty but for a sandwich shop
Excellent connections with the main German airports and from there to rest of the world. Just do not be scared when landing under severe wind conditions
Before security go to the restaurant near check in desks 5 and 6. Probably the best airport restaurant I've ever eaten in. The daily menu at €22 including drinks and coffee is a must.
One of the most boring airports
Bilbao Baggins once flew from here en route to Mordor.
Very small airport with limited possibilities.
Interesting design, not crowded, easy access to Moyúa or Termibus with Bizkaibus--a respectable airport.

The best Airport ever!!!
Strange not knowing which gate to go before your plane arrives..

Small airport, but good food
A little gem of Calatrava. A small but functional gateway. Not a lot of seating space by gates, and minimal security line-ups, so no need to get here too early.

Just take the bus and get in Bilbao in less than 20 minutes. If you need a hostel there is one just 3 minutes walking from the last bus station, San Mames, really nice one, it,s call Pil Pil Hostel.
If you're a gastronomic connoisseur (a foodie), visit San Sebastián, known for it's high-tech gastronomy. This tiny resort lays claim to more Michelin stars per capita than any other city in Europe.
Usuarios víctimas de Calatrava. Customers are Calatrava's victims.
Unless you absolutely have to, don't take a cab from your airport hotel to Bilbao airport. We had no choice due to the time of our flight. 20EU was obscene for that distance.
Good beer and pintxos in the bar. No announcementes to gates at all!
"TSA Stay away from my luggage"
You can't exchange money.
To go to Vitoria-Gasteiz you must get the bus to Bilbao and leave it at last stop (Termibus). There you should take another bus to Vitoria coming out continuously (company La Union)

Pequeño aeropuerto, cuenta únicamente con dos cafeterías en el exterior. Una vez dentro, tiene algo más de tiendas donde hacer más amena la espera.
