No airport wifi, free wifi only in Avianca VIP lounge, or Juan Valdez coffee before security check ; to have a sandwich, pass security check. Sandwich or wifi, you choose !

get here early. even though I checked-in online. I had to go Taxes counter to get stamped even though I didn't have to pay departure tax. then to baggage drop-off.

Check in is significantly faster if you don't check any bags. You jump to the front of the line.

Some foreign passengers regret about long time that security controls take but they don't realize that those controls exist because some people from other countries are caught here with "stuff" .

Checked in online and it still took 1 1/2 hours to get to the boarding gate. An unbelievable process - no wonder planes take off late from here.

Most complicated exit process in the world. Process changes each time. But the key is you need an exit "tax stamp" which you might have to pay for in Pesos so be ready!

Took literally 10 minutes to check bag and get through security to gate on a holiday weekend. It's not better or worse than any other airport.

Long wait time that sometimes security control takes is an issue because all the people that come to Colombia with not so legal interest. I think it's not an issue with airport responsibility.

Give yourself plenty of time if travelling with a baby. Red tape without any explanation except request for 'additional' fees. Persistence is key to avoid being stung. Sad way to leave a great place

Domestic flights are a breeze. Wifi in Cafe Solo (Int'l side by the touristy shops) and at Cafe Arbusto (domestic side).

The guys at Avianca do respect the weight limits for check in baggage, however you can sway them with 10000 COP, instead of the official fee per kilo. So sad.

Be sure to allow yourself 2.5-3 hours before your flight to the US. There are 3 checkpoints and 2 and sometimes 3 luggage searches. Also, keep up to US$50 per person for airport tariff.

Make sure you give yourself plenty of time to transit airport security. Major anti drug operations and full body xrays. Seems like males traveling alone are the profile.

Que lástima que no tenga como guardar equipaje, el aeropuerto es bueno pero le falta ese servicio.
