Neighborhood gem of a gourmet supermarket. Decent prices and has the freshest ingredients around. Their deli sandwiches are to die for - everything is sliced thinly and made with such delicacy. 😍

Get: roasted chicken, tomato foccacia, homemade mozzarella, meatballs, most desserts (chocolate mousse, oreo cheesecake). Don't get: pasta, morning pastries (croissants, muffins). Coffee's just okay.
Their homemade pasta is really really good. Stuffed rigatoni, ravioli, etc. etc.

Go to the back of the store and order any sandwich from meat/fish section. The freshest sandwich you will get ues. Eat it at the coffee area tables

will put anything you want on a hero at deli counter: turkey meatballs, fresh roasted turkey, prosciutto di parma, yum.
I would only buy specialty foods here...3.49 for spinach versus the UES whole foods that sells it for 1.99!
Get a freshly made sandwich from the deli instead of the pre-made ones.- They have practically everything here. Their meats and desserts are particularly good.
2 free mini muffins made from scratch when you buy a cup of coffee, and they're SO good. Also, the mac n cheese is fiiiire.

Occasionally and frustratingly, shelves are sometimes not adequately stocked. Counter people can be in attentive.

come here for basically anything and it will be cheaper and fresher than food emporium

Try the store-brand, free-range, hormone- and antibiotic-free chicken. It's a steal!
