Agave is a mexican restaurant & tequila bar in NYC's West Village, named "Best Tequila Bar" by New York Magazine, and "Best Margaritas" by The Food Network.
Brunch is packed (with good reason)! Make sure you have a reservation
Agave offers bottomless brunch, which is very popular. Make sure to make a reservation well in advance. Outdoor seating is a plus too.
Classic southwestern style food. Good tequila and mezcal selection.
Margaritas and brunch
One of the few places that allow you to get liquor for bottomless brunch (with their house margaritas). I highly recommend the huevos rancheros!
Great margaritas and they generally alway have an open table or two at the bar! Try the nectar margarita
They have brunch Friday-Sunday! $29.95 for entree + unlimited drinks. Prickly pickle margarita is surprisingly good.
Had my 23rd birthday dinner here. Food was excellent.
$29.95 prix-fixe: eggs Benedict and huevos rancheros come with two hours of bottomless mimosas, wine or margaritas.
not too crazy about the food, but the bottomless brunch and cocktails are solid.
Liked the food (the tuna appetizer especially) but the margaritas are uninspiring and weak.
Happy hour margaritas are fantastic - but just near the bar. Avoid the guac & chips though
it's all about the happy hour special. prixe fixe + endless margaritas for 2 hours.
best and most affordable boozy brunch in the city, great staff
Went last night and they were out of chicken, crab, and snapper, 3 important ingredients on the menu. Hope this doesn't happen too often! Good guacamole and steak fajitas.
Enchiladas are God-tier
good flavored margaritas (try pomegranate or prickly pear) and tacos!
Chic and trendy. If you like margaritas, this is the happy hour for you
Great Huevos Rancheros
Guac to die for. Great service and trendy atmosphere
The guac! And the southwestern eggs benedict. And the margs!
Beef fajitas and jalapeño margarita were very good. Good spot for group dinners
1 year later - still can't poach. If you get black out drunk, they'll give you free fries :)
Great ambience! This is one of the better Mexican restaurants in NYC. I'm slightly obsessed with the skirt steak!
Crab toast is amazing. Love the guacamole as well
Here for bottomless brunch? Try the huevos rancheros
They have a good happy hour
Killer margaritas!! :)
Free guacamole when you use the MyCheck powered PayPal app here!
Killer Tequila list...there might have been food....did I mention the killer tequila list?
Careful - over cooked the poached eggs. Too hungry to send it back
$28 deal for unlimited brunch
Get the guac!
The margaritas are amazing! This is a perfect place to celebrate life's milestones! Happy Hour easily turns into late nights here. Great atmosphere
Went for happy hour, left having spent an ungodly amount of money on totally mediocre food/drinks. Even at 5pm, when the place was empty, HH is only at the bar. Wish we'd known before we were seated.
Sit at the bar during bottomless brunch and the bartender makes everyone a special shot!
They skimp on the skirt steak and the portion sizes seemed a bit small. Fortunately we were part of the 2 hour unlimited margarita deal and made up for it with a few pitchers.
Not impressed with the service.
We had an AWFUL experience there. Plain menu options, really bad service, and they even had ran out of most entrées. We ended up leaving. Consider it as a bar but absolutely not for lunch or dinner.
Deal: $25 prix fixe menu which includes an entree and your choice of two-hour bottomless mimosas, wine, or margaritas. Yelp rating: 3/5 stars Bonus: You can get a flavored margarita for $1 extra.
Probably one of the best Margaritas in the city. Also try the Guac and Chips.
Get the guac and prickly pear marg!!
Brunch: $25 Prix Fixe Mexican menu which includes an entrée and two-hour bottomless mimosas, wine or sangria
They've got a prix-fixe menu for $24.95 that includes 2hrs of unlimited margaritas, mimosas, or wine.
Order the queso fundido! It's delicious! Stay away from the jalapeno margarita though.. bleck!
Tremendous huevos rancheros. The boozy brunch is awesome as well.
Yuck. Watery margaritas. The only reason I came in is that I mistook it for Ofrenda, which actually has bomb ass drinks. Won't make that mistake again.
