This place has tasty gyros, and it's a grocery store, too. I hear they even have a buffet maybe? Solid lunch pick for the northeastern burbs.

If it were socially acceptable to bury myself face first in the dish of hummus or in the falafel sandwich, I would. As often as possible. Always get the hummus as a start because it's amazing!

This place stacks right up there with the best Mediterranean I've had in the US or abroad. Courteous staff, authentic food and festive atmosphere make for a great combo.

The gyro looks small at first, but it comes in a deep pita and is packed with meat. Great deal too!

The grocery stocks red lentils (dry), which are hard to find at regular grocers.
