Shortest and most efficient TSA lines in human history, free wi-fi throughout the airport, and lots of post-security food/drink/shop options... The airport may be old, but its very accommodating!
Enjoy the tacky furniture from 1988.
New Mexico... It's cool to layover here... But not cool to have this as your final destination
Remember. if the plane explodes in a giant fireball and everybody dies. (Except for you) You know why? It's "Cause You had you had your tray table up, and your seat back in the full upright position"
Wow... The cleanest public restroom I have ever seen! Kudos Sunport.
Very quick airport to get around @! Great look too ;)
This is a great airport that has a cool, uniquely New Mexico feel. Free wifi and comfy seats plus good eats make it a good stop.
The decor is like a bad theme in windows 98
Get a burrito at La Hacienda Express: best airport food I've had in a long while!
Loooooove the turquoise and bling shopping here!!! ;-)
Quite possibly the easiest "get in, get done" major airport in the USA. Very "New Mexico" feel, extremely close parking, fast TSA lines, friendly staff, and only 15 minutes from downtown!
Head up the stairs by the food court for great views and a relaxing area.
Breakfast burrito with green chile at the Hacienda is pretty much the reason for showing up a little early for your morning flight
Best TSA in the nation.
Opt out of the nude-o-scope. And enjoy the freedom fondle...
Cell phone waiting area/airplane viewing area is great.
Wear warm clothes in january
Southwest curbside checkin is awesome here! Made traveling with a baby very easy here.
Breakfast Roll up at the Black Mesa coffee company is REALLY good.
Cool model airplane display near the ticket counters before you go up the escalator.
The security lines run fast, even on busy days.
Between the concourses is a grande vista to watch departures with mountains as a backdrop. Just go up the stairs.
The airport time forgot. I feel like I just landed here in a time machine.
Coffee Mesa ain't too shabby. Ditto on the 80s furniture.
Oust the Mayor!!
If you look past the outdated furniture and decor you can appreciate the Sunport for it's awesome food, small size, and ease of dealing with the TSA! :)
Hardly any wait if you take an early flight!
Best airport in the usa
Go on an adventure.
Any of the chaplains at the Albuquerque International Sunport are ready to help people with any spiritual needs, including contacting local spiritual leaders or joining them in the Meditation Room.
This is a very nice airport. I love coming to New Mexico and hate it when I have to leave.
Stop into Hudson news for your tasty beverage of choice and the latest magazine's for you flight across the universe.
Dumbass. Pack food. It's a long flight to ORD!
Awesome airport. I think most people are mistaking the New Mexican decor for 80s style.
Never underestimate check-in time!
I love this airport, very rarely crowded and very accommodating. :)
Unless you're driving up to Santa Fe, there's not much else to do here.
I'm not going to lie, it looks like a flashback into the 80's. Not much to do here, people watching can be quite interesting. Small Airport.
Should time permit park in the Aircraft Viewing Area just east of the airport and watch the planes come n go. Shameless fun, plus, if you have children, they may get a kick out of it.
My fave airport bc: fastest and nicest TSA ever, free wifi, good coffee, food court has green chile stew, and it's not too huge.
Has anyone seen Walt or Jesse? I'm still looking...
Surprisingly, there's no giant mural of Marty Chavez proclaiming "I am your god now"
At the center of the concourse between concourse A and B go upstairs (elevator or stairs) to discover a gem. A huge room with couches, tables, chairs, multiple wall outlets and the best view.
Check out the Observation Deck between A gate & B gate wings. Big windows comfortable seats & great view of the airfield.
Ugliest airport in america
Fast lines to get through security....never a problem.
The green chilli chicken stew at Buena Comida is awesome!
