The food is good but not the service. They are prejudice against what you wear. Last time we were treated respectfully. I come again with my family in hiking gear and they were awful.

Coffee & croissant kind of a day! Try lunch outside or if you need to work there are tables behind the bar. Quiet and comfy. #SharetheSilence 🐇

Service can be space-y at time, but the best coffee/food and amazing conversations to overhear.

Great outdoor seating, perfectly spicy buffalo chicken wrap, hearty poutine, but say no to the basic chicken sandwich.

Perfect spot for hanging out with friends or for a date. Great selection of food and beverages but the greatest part is its patio which gives a European feel. Definitely a place to put on your list!

Great food (we had the crab cake Benedict and breakfast quesadilla), decent coffee, ambitious and expensive desserts, and a wonderful ambiance and outdoor dining space.

The make a Mexicano here which is amazing. Ancho Reyes, Campari and soda. Soooo good. They have Atlantico rum which makes the best daiquiris. And of course, the tequila Ocho here is divine.

Try to avoid usual eating times because it gets real busy. Also if it's too hot and sunny you might want to be indoors.

Turkey pesto panini is really good. Fries are amazing with blue cheese dressing. I've had cappuccino at alot of places, but none compare to Alcove. Love the outdoor seatting. Gets crowded sometimes.

There's a fancy new bar but you can always order booze from the regular food line as well. And they'll deliver your drink!

If the Alcove had a Ken doll it's accessories would include boat shoes, a SAGcard & a popped collar. Nice al fresco dining. Not a fan of ordering @the crowded counter. Tipping upon ordering preferred.

For a laid-back neighborhood vibe that's also doggie friendly, Alcove is a great spot. You can order a drink from Big Bar, or try your own hand at cocktailing with their make-your-own-mimosa option. Read more

Apparently they don't know how to clean their griddle so dont order pancakes and such unless you are good with some onion or garlic flavir popping up here and there.
