People tend to check in during these times:
Get the Tacos Dorado (one chicken and one potato)! Great Agua Frescas using seasonal fruits.
Try the crispy carnitas (or just about anything else on the menu for that matter).
The Jason burrito is my favorite burrito on the planet. The pozole verde is amazing ! The food here tastes like my moms kitchen.
Super fresh guacamole. Great mole (and gluten free which is unusual). No booze but BYOB is welcome.
Cinnamon tea ftw
No more BYOB. Boo-urns!
Used to be lowpro but catching more and more buss as time goes on. Super nice family run. Food feels clean and as mexican should be. Not all cheese and beans and sour cream. Autentica comida latina.
Only eat here if you have plenty of time to spare. It's the best, but the service can be spotty, to say the least.
Awesome Mexican breakfast, fresh juices and the best mexican coffee I've ever had in my life. It's crack.
Amazing food for a little hole in the wall.
Zagat 24. there's no alcohol, but don't miss the "amazing" fresh-fruit elixirs muddled with herbs.
Don't go if you're looking for quick service. If you've got the time, it's worth the trip.
I am very picky about my moles and their mole is awesome! My fav is their mole enchiladas. It's on their lunch menu but they'll make it for dinner if you ask.
Be sure to order the guacamole. It's a must.
Some of the friendliest service I've gotten in LA and THE BEST food. CASH ONLY!
Get a home made agua fresca.
Jason burrito is great. The cafe de olla is as delicious as coffee gets
The marvelous chimichanga is the opposite of healthy. The mole negro is a complex, nuanced and delicate wonder that is possibly the best mole in town. I don't know why you'd order anything else.
Super fresh guacamole. And awesome mole (and gluten-free, which is rare!). Alas, no more BYO booze allowed, thanks to the overzealous county officials.
Their Ceviche de Camaron is a must try!
Tacos a la Crema for shure.
