Get the muffins from AJ delight. It's amazing. The at all faces the shophouse. But they don't sell muffins during Chinese new year period.

Please do try to support this elderly man. He sells the cheapest tissue paper I know outta all the peddlers I've met. I think he's just trying to make an honest living. I've met horrid ones in Bugis.

The hawker with the most nos. of fruit juice stalls selling avocado shake. Mr Avocado has the smoothest and strongest gula Melaka taste. Teochew braised duck rice is good. Muffin stall also popular.

Avoid SIN KEE chicken rice. I was the first customer. Asked for drumstick and was told: "don't have". There were 10 chickens on display... I got mostly bones - very disappointed. NEVER again.

After trying both Mr Avocado and Avocado King, I have to say that Mr Avocado wins hands down. Avocado King's tastes a bit acidic, which is weird.

King avocado trumps mr avocado. Creamier, with a durian aftertaste (not sure if this is just leftover from the previous round of blending). Mr avocado more diluted with tinge of chocolate.

Claypot laksa is good. And I'm not a Yu Sheng person but the corner stall here is one of THE best and serves only in the morning. Their porridge is not much to rave abt though...
