Great spot to grab a bite and sit on the steps watching the waves, the sunset, the boats and ferries going by and the beach volleyball games. Get there and enjoy the sand!

Was introduced to this place solely because of its view. Went here the second day arriving in Washington. Kayaking and you can even rent bikes and ride around with your family or friends.

Similar in feel to most beach towns, Alki offers a quick escape from the hustle and bustle of Seattle's urban core. During summer time the area is filled with beachgoers enjoying the sun and views.

This two-and-a-half-mile strip of sandy beach is one of the most popular beaches in the area, and it was also where Seattle's first non-Native American settlers spent their first winter.
