get a special peek into the city which, for more than a century, was one of the most important rail facilities in the U.S. Be sure to check out the K-4S #1361- built in 1918!
Altoona's finest and only railroad museum!
Three levels open to the public; lots of interactive exhibits for young kids. Why the "newsboy" speaks with a Bronx accent though, I can't figure out ;)
A great train museum and a great place to see a concert.
The museum has a summer concert series to benefit the museum. Good music, cold drinks, and summer weather! Check out the event schedule at http://www.railroadcity.com/.
