Bathrooms are dirty. Seats are okay. There are so many other nicer theaters. But if u want one in this area it's fine.
This theater is amazing but the IMAX ugh not that great but although this theater is better than AMC Magic Johnson 9
Good place to see a movie
Best theater if you want to avoid the bad "elements" of 34th street and the Time Sqaure movie theaters
Typical AMC theater. Thankfully, there is no internet service downstairs in the theaters.
The fake IMAX is bullshit recommend go to AMC Lincoln Square 13
People where clapping at the screen? Whaaat? James Bond cant hear you!! Very weird. Also come early when you wanna get a good seat
Decent IMAX. Have had more movies here get sold out than the Union Square location though
One of my favorites in the city. Stadium style seating
Spacious. Good for dates!
Huge theater with IMAX and 3D screens. Usually fairly empty.
Nice and big. Rarely crowded.
Icee machine upstairs is out of service indefinitely. You'll have to go downstairs to get your brain freeze on.
Smallish-theaters, usually not that busy. Your theater may be in the basement!
Got a service dog? Bring em to the mooooovies.
Good movie theatre with stadium seating, hard chairs with little cushion, super expensive.
Quintessential suburban movie theater in the city
A good way to check out the Kips Bay neighborhood. Grab dinner or drinks at one of the many great restaurants or bars near by. Make a fun night out of it.
Love the farmers market out front on weekends.
Not the best IMAX screen, better suited for regular movies.
One of my favorite movie theaters in Manhattan.
Perfectly average movie theater. Usually fairly Uncrowded and easy to get good seats
Not sure where all the hate is coming from. They have the best non-IMAX screens in the city. Comfy seats too.
Nothing was good! It was dirty, dingy and the movie didn't start on time. After 30 min. it finally started and I had to go to the concession stand and ask for them to turn the lights off!!
Not real imax.
Best place to view new releases since it's always less crowded. Easy place to get a cab
Great theater, always clean.
Solid place to see a movie. There's a Rite Aid nearby to stock up on candy before you go.
I prefer this location over Union Square for more popular titles. Still crowded, but stadium style seating and a little off the beaten path is a nice change of pace.
Kitchen food is prepped at main concession; we ordered from downstairs and waited 15 minutes for chicken strips. Staff holler at each other across the room.
Don't order kitchen food at the downstairs concession. They have to make it from the one at the second floor. If you must, prepare to wait.
My favorite theater in Manhattan... Also quiet and quiet so you can actually enjoy the movie
The IMAX screen here isn't real IMAX so don't waste the extra money.
My favorite spot to see a movie - even if it's all the way to Kips Bay!
The one and only movie theatre that i love in this area.
Grab candy/drinks at Rite Aid next door before show
My fave theater in NYC for big blockbusters. Spacious and comfy seats and space. Arrive 30 mins early for optimal seats on new releases.
I've seen plenty of movies here. The best deal - buy a large popcorn or soda and get infinite free refills!
Not too crowded.
Their IMAX is not real IMAX, but it ain't bad neither.
If you live in Kips Bay or Murray Hill, no need to go further away. This theater draws a crowd but is well kept and enjoyable. Cheap snacks across the street too!
Expensive prices for tickets and food but it's NYC after all. Stuy town residents can get discount tickets
You can't get a bad seat here. Very comfortable chairs and a lot of leg room. 15 screens and lots of different movies all the time.
Gone Girl with Minj and Nik.
Nice clean theater. Spacious.
One of my favorite AMC's in Manhattan. Clean and well maintained. Only downfall is it out of the way
My favorite movie theater for blockbusters in Manhattan. It's sufficiently far from subways, it doesn't get too much pedestrian traffic, it's clean and spacious.
Watched boyhood, which was great but a little too long
