A bit on the older side and could definitely use some sprucing up, but no where near as crowded as it’s Union Square neighbor.
If you go to a movie before 12 it's only $6!
Cupholders are seriously slanted - watch your drink
Saw a guy jerking off in the corner. GROSS!
Popcorn all over the floor, rats were eating it during the movie.
One of the shittiest theatre's in NY, but I love how they play old-school movies
Sticky floors, seats falling apart. We took a arm rest for a souvenir. Avoid! Dirty!
Literally the shittiest theater ever - old seats, bad layout, no machines to print tickets so everyone waits in line whether or not you preordered
All tickets discounted before noon. Great way to catch summer blockbusters on a budget!
Dont suck dick in the theater.
If you come for 11am film, only popcorn is on lower level. (We're on 7th floor) :-(
Seats are awful
my old school spot.. I remember when Penang was right across the street!
Grab tickets or watch Tribeca Film Festival screenings here, April 16-27!
Stack up on chips and drinks across the street @ M2M. Beats the overpriced concession stand.
Wish the seats were more comfortable!
Walked in on two girls hooking up. Popcorn in the bathroom and all over theatre. Uncomfortable seats. Go to another theater.
not having stadium seating really sucks when a moron with a big head sits infront of you and won't sit still!
No stadium seating.
I hear the "suicide icey" is the pro-move but the white icey tastes like socks IMHO.
Dirty and need to be renovation but I love going to the movie there with my girlfriend
Crappy run down theatre. You're better off walking a few extra blocks and go to the one at Union Square
Built on the site of the former Dept. of Public Charities bldg-where, in 1902, Ernest Coulter helped org. the 1st NY Children’s Court. 2 yrs later, he founded Big Brothers to help boys he saw in court
Theater 6 wasn't great. Crappy old & busted seats, messed up screen with a bright spot in the middle of the screen.
You can easily sneak in food. Save some money. Also their popcorn tastes amazing.
Outdated, not dirty but it seems a bit abandoned which is depressing.
Gonna Chk out Joyful Noise here coz its rite across from Keihl's, l'd luv 2 see wht new stuff they've got in.
So many stairs, escalators, floors. My legs ache.
There's lots of stairs so it's easy to get a little lost in this 3-floor theatre!
Management, there are too many ads and previews. Quit it. 22 minutes?!
Might want to be hammered if your seat is in the first three row - that way you can convince yourself the view is worth the money.
Mobbed on weekends, sometimes VERY empty on a school night. Has Summer revival cinema, too.

Go see a matinee than dance it up next door at Webster Hall
Pretty average movie theater out in the corner. Typical chain stuff, ads before trailers, etc. I like the layout, amount of escalators in here
Might spot JSex here — it's his favorite movie theater!
Old and tired seats. The seating layout is not stadium-style so if you're short, you'll get heads blocking your vision.
This is a smaller theater, and not as maintained, as the large theater down the street in union square. Usually they play different movies.
Kinda dirty... Would recommend trying a different theater first
This theater sucks! As soon as we walked in the two employees yelled out, "tickets" as if we were just going to walk right in. Unprofessional! The lady seemed annoyed for whatever reason. Trash!!!
Great for catching the movies in a intimate setting
Not the best cinema
Pretty beat up theatre with small screens and crummy, worn out seats.
Kitty the ticket-taker is 79 and a bawse. Take a minute to talk with her and get some wisdom.
Fall asleep as usual:(
Has the potential to be a great theater, but in its current state its nowhere near acceptable for a movie theater in 2013/2014.
Terrible, terrible, terrible theater.
