This place is great. Friendly staff, clean facilities, positive law enforcement efforts. No vagrants, gypsies, or streakers.

Arrive a few minutes early to enjoy the train display in the waiting area. There is a convenience store with snacks and necessities of sorts, although the pickings are slim.

If you're on the train from Pittsburgh to Philadelphia, your layover is a exactly enough time to power walk to Agia Sofia coffee shop and pick something up.

Stop by Spice Restaurant for lunch or dinner while you are in town or before you leave. Check in specials on Foursquare. Safe travels!

Pennsylvanian over the Keystone any day. Especially if you're going further than Lancaster. Don't they know how much money they could make with a cafe car??

For a laugh, read Jack Kerouac's thoughts on Harrisburg, and the train station in particular. He spent a few nights there during his travels

Amtrak employees are only assholes if you act like one towards them first. Don't do that and have an enjoyable ride.
