Anastasia State Park includes more than 1,600 acres featuring four miles of pristine beach, a tidal salt marsh, and a maritime and upland hammock. There is also an archaeological site where coquina rock was mined to create the nearby fortress, Castillo de San Marcos National Monument.
An excellent place to watch the sunrise. If you go down the road a bit you can get free parking and just walk into the park.
The trail is pretty cool, but beware! Mosquitoes will eat you alive! Use repellent!!!
Beautiful! I had my first camping experience here last weekend and did not want to leave! So much to do or quiet places to hangout and enjoy the scenery. Will definitely be back!
$8 per car charge is because the county charges that amount for beach access / most FL PARKS are less
Coquina camp area is the closest access to the beach. Always our favorite!
Best place to camp in FL, hands down. Words cannot describe my love for this place.
Hour and a half walk to the northern shore of the island. Lots to see along the way!
What a great place! Awesome shaded camping areas and running trails.
Nice big beach
One of the most beautiful state parks we've ever seen. Beach access to the Atlantic Ocean, bike rentals, canoe/kayak rentals, a nature trail, historical sites and camping.
No dogs on the beach. Fee is $8 per vehicle entire day.
Excellent park that offers camping, kayaking, windsurfing, beach access, fishing, bike rentals, hiking trails and much more. Great place!
Great running trails
Great place to go camping in a tent. All hours beach access, playground to swing on.
Lots of things to do here. You will love it.
Great spot for camping! And just a walk to the beach!!
The beach front is roughly 4mi. of natural beach. About halfway up towards the north end is Middles and can be identified with its lower dunes allowing visibility to the lighthouse.
Just saw a 5ft. rattle snake under the long boardwalk out to the beach. Apparently they live under there and keep down the rat population. Always be aware of your surroundings.
$8 is steep. Georgia state parks only $5 and that's after a recent raise.
Nalu's taco stand at the entrance of the park is awesome!
