Originator of the Buffalo Chicken Wing,
Wings were good. Great service.
Turkey burger w BBQ sauce + potato salad = "heaven".
Wings and Beef on Weck for the win. Fast service. Good waitstaff. Best place to eat in the airport. The hot sauce on the wings is not that hot though. Don't be scared.
Must try item - blue cheese dip
Try the Combo. The Beef on Weck is tasty good - but you NEED the wings!
Good service. A taste of Buffalo before you even leave the airport! Great food!
Great place to kill time while waiting to board ur plane. Good food!!
Buffalo Wings are awesome!
Wings of course
This might be obvious, but if you want to go to the Anchor Bar, go to the Anchor Bar. Downtown. Not at the airport. This one has an airport concession connection, and it just isn't the same.
Wings are OK, chicken sandwich was dry, try something else!
A chicken wing omelette and Bloody Mary??? Yes please!!!
Best service in Buffalo!
Authentic Buffalo Wings! 'Nuf said!
Finally compared three of the wings joints in Buffalo..Duff's, La Nova and Anchor Bar..the ranking is in that order...Anchor's suicidal wings?...not very spicy at all unfortunately.
Don't think you're getting the real deal here. These are a poor imitation of their wings.
"About the best wings I've ever had" comment of a customer sitting next to me. To bad I'm on the vegetarian kick.
$6 for a Labatt Blue, even at the Buffalo airport, just seems like price gouging.
Ask for extra bleu cheese !
Angus beef Burger surprisingly good!! Super juicy and full of flavor!!
Overpriced junk food! No healthy options. Lousy beer selection.
The wings are worth it and "mild" is not too spicy.
I walked in at 4:10pm and I was done eating my beef on wick by 4:29. Super fast service.
Do NOT get the beef on wick. They use processed beef like subway. Being from Buffalo, I feel this does not appropriately do the classic sandwich justice. Stick to the wings. I am disappoint. :-(
They even have a gluten free menu.
If you're flying to JFK on JetBlue, this is directly across from the gate. Just wait here.
It's all about Buffalo Chicken Wings using the original sauce as developed by the recipe's creator, Theressa Bellissimo.
I realized the airport location of Anchor Bar is obviously not the original, but wow I was extremely disappointed in the wings. WAY too salty - I literally had to rub excess salt off the wings. :-(
No Genny. That's unfortunate.
Two words: Gabriel's Gate.
Get wings to go on the plane. Limited beer selection.
Wings were salty as heck. I dunno what the big craze about this place is?
Chicken wings is a must try!!!!!
All you peaty scotchers, they have Talisker.
Great wings and blue cheese! Best food in the airport - take some for your flight too!
Not as good as the original. Lacks the atmosphere of the real thing. But great for an airport. Beer selection is poor.
One word. Duff's.
Tourist tip: There are other wings, but Anchor Bar created the original --- it's all about the awesome sauce!
Ignore the special. It doesn't happen, you have to pay more than you'd think!
No beer on Sunday before noon!!! Lame!!!!
This place has the best wings. Order them hot, and you've got a piece of Buffalo history.
The Buffalo Combination is a great tour of the city, foodwise. Tasted great, pleasant service.
Can't get a drink before noon??? At an airport?? Really??? That is not cool at all!
You can actually purchase three wings for $4.25.
Buffalo chicken salad...not very saucy, but the Bleu Cheese dressing is delicious!
Check-in special is not a deal at all. You still have to purchase the glass. Please remove this @foursquare.
They are out of protective boxes and they charge extra for the glass - not very cool of you ask me. But, the wait staff is very cool and honest
For real wings, go to Duffs.
Go to Duff's on Dick Rd. near the airport, original on Sheridan or location in Orchard Park if you want to eat real wings.
