Combo plate of 2 - tofu and side salad with tahini parsley dressing $8.50. Zero taste. So sad. Freaks and Leeks of vegan quiche was a lot better and came with curried soup and green sauce for $18

Leave it to one of the best vegetarian restaurants to produce one of the city’s best salads. Start with the delicious House Salad, or make a meal of the Si Se Puede.

I go for the Dragon Bowl with sesame dressing. This is my go-to order here. It's also the dish with which Angelica Kitchen began. This is my favorite vegetarian/macrobiotic spot in Manhattan.

Impressed with every dish I've tried. I'm lactose intolerant so I love a place that can make tofu taste like sour cream. You can BYOB but make sure you bring cash too because they don't accept cards.

Some of best quality food for takeout in NYC. I like the Wee Dragon Bowl with house dressing; soups; the Angelica cornbread with miso-tahini spread. Entrees are very tasty. Don't forget the cookies!

One of the best vegetarian restaurants in the city – the Dragon bowl is a must! Don’t overlook the Reuben Sandwich, their Cornbread or the daily specials. BYOB!!

Open since 1976, Angelica Kitchen was a head of its time with a gourmet vegan menu with a fantastic Asian twist. Can get crowded but worth the wait, and comes at a very reasonable price.

With gluten free ingredients, the Three Bean Chili gives a healthier twist to the hearty beans absorbed in a sweet tomato and chili blend. Its soft Southern cornbread is the right savory compliment.

Some of the best vegetarian food I have ever eaten. Even though I am a vegetarian, my boyfriend who I was with, is not- and he loved the food! So flavorful and so interesting. Such a fan.

It was kind of awkward. The waiter sat down to eat at the table next to us and then didn't check to see of we needed anything for the rest of our meal. Not the service I was expecting for the quality.

Food is amazing but beware the guy at the community table... I think he lives here and will take to you about politics... He is an interesting conversation

Nothing special. Dragon roll is a disappointment, just a bunch of baked vegetables/black beans/sticked rice. Se Si salad was better, but I recommend to choose Beyond Sushi or any other place.

Not sure why they call it the wee dragon bowl, it can definitely be a full entree. Cashew spread seemed a little small though. I'm not really sure how vegetarian food works.

Loved the dragon bowl with cornbread and tahini miso spread on the side (the dragon bargain). It's a lot of food, definitely enough for two.

Dragon Bowls are big enough to serve two people. They're also delicious. Top it off with a piece of southern-style cornbread and you have a great meal.

Dragon bowl! With tofu, beans, rice, squash, kale and seaweed. Definitely get the half size, it's more than enough.

Never one to be a trend follower, this veg restaurant dresses its dishes up with sophistication visually and internally. Tofu is styled with garlic, tarragon and a cashew sauce. Read more

Old school amazing veg fare. Creative, delicious, and quality/value beat out most of the trendier veg spots. Cornbread is yum.

Food was decent but it is CASH ONLY which is only mentioned in a small frame by the entrance--easily missed if you don't look up and to your left.

The "wee" dragon bowl (half portion) is more than enough for 1, and it is delicious! They also have fresh squeezed veggie juice.

Simultaneously crunchy-healthy + raw-ish AND innovative, modern, and delicious. Just glance at the menu beforehand--yes, it is cash only, and you might need to bring more of it than expected!
