Best date spot. There's a wait but never really more than 20 min. Drinks are great, snacks are great. It's super cozy and intimate. Hands down my favorite cocktail bar in NYC. Window seat's the best.
Excellent cocktails and preparation was spot on. Great selection of Japanese whiskeys and other single malts
There's a lot of hype and a long wait, but the cocktails really are great. Paul Giamatti was there last time I went.
one word ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, awesome ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Amazingly inventive drinks. Their high noon, with saffron, clarified milk, and tequila is superb.
Beware of the 4-persons max seating.
The greatest cocktails I had so far. An incredible atmosphere
There are 2 angel's share almost next to each other very authentic and chilled out. Cocktails are great !
Try their smoky whisky cocktail, it's a great experience!
Very charming...get the perfect taste of cocktails....
Some of my absolute favorite cocktails in NYC. The "Smoke Gets in Your Eyes" is fantastic, but you should really try the "Flirtibird" with the shiso+yuzu - truly unusual and exceptional flavors. 👌
My kind of place. All the cocktails are named after jazz standards.
Lovely ambiance, but it is always so packed that you can't really enjoy the experience as much as one would like.
East of the Sun and Smoke in Your Eyes are my favorites so far. The Parmigiano Sour is interesting, too!
Really enjoyed my smoke in the eyes drink
Loved the smoky cocktail and cozy space.
Go to for well made cocktails, great ambiance, and people watching. Try to get a table in the back room.
It's a very intimate speakeasy but my friends and I only waited 15 minutes for a table for 3.
Espresso, calva and a good company. All you need. Awesome place!
Come here for drinks while waiting for Ippudo!
This speakeasy has a secret speakeasy inside it Thursday-Saturday. You actually use a separate secret entrance! Make sure you check it out! Try Sharaku instead of the Village Yokocho 😉🤐
Amazing, incredible craft cocktails. Evidence is a great off-menu cocktail made with their house-infused Earl Gray Gin. The Autumn Leaves is my personal favorite.
One of my favorite speakeasies! If you're going for the first time I highly recommend getting the Smoke Gets In Your Eyes!
The parmesan cocktail is delicious
finally got to check out this spot and well worth the wait. Cocktails are ingenious and delicious.
Mack the Knife & Stormy Weather. Great cocktails, not so sweet.
Evidence. It rotated off the menu, but it's a killer tall drink - earl grey gin, lillic blanc, ginger ale, lemon, and Japanese precision.
Up the stairs to the left.
Outstanding cocktails! My gf and I thoroughly enjoyed a great date night. Oh we are totally coming back again!
The decor and big windows were beautiful. Try and get a window seat! The Stormy Weather is a great fall whiskey drink.
Amazing Cocktails - If you have to wait, try their bar next door. Different menu, but just as delicious.
Great vibe, creative cocktails with a Japanese twist.
Cool date spot
Smoke in your eyes. Absolute Manhattan heaven. They literally put smoke in the recipe😅
strong drinks- really getting your money's worth!! that's how the Asians do it!
this drink was really great but I forget what it was called
Expensive, creative cocktails. Try the smoke gets in your eye for a fun time
Cocktails are amazing, obviously. It's a speakeasy. I liked the St. Thomas & the Bésame Mucho.
This hidden bar impresses even the most jaded New Yorkers. A little Tokyo gem with all the right Japanese sensibilities...but don't be shocked if they're out of your Japanese whiskey of choice
If you want something sweet, try the Rockin' Chair!
Classy Japanese Whiskey cocktails FTW.
Japanese Speakeasy vibes, overlooking IBM Studios. Best drinks in walking distance.
Attention to detail makes you feel like you're in Tokyo. Smoke Gets in Your Eyes is always a crowd pleaser
East of the Sun is tasty! Very pronounced ginger and Thai basil flavors; the coconut is pretty subtle though.
