Good museum. Worth to visit before going to Angkor. Especially to those who are not familiar with Buddhist and Hinduist mythology and history.

An informative place to see before the temples. One prepare to spend more than 3hrs there. Rent an audio headset, it will enhance the visit greatly.

Very interesting museum, we visited it after temples but didn't regret. Lots of mini movies about Khmer culture and temples. Audio guide is helpful. I recommend to book online to pay less.

Try it the other way round: visit main sites like Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, Bayon, Ta Phrom, Pre Rup, Bantaey Srei, Kbal Spean & Preah Khan with a guide THEN round it off with a trip to the museum. :)

Bring your student cards for half price! 6USD instead of 12! $3 USD for audio tour, only about 20 items on it, not sure if it's really worth paying for the audio tour
