    Come there early in the morning to see the sunrise, just beautiful. But since February '17 they raise up the prices for entry, now you have to pay 37$ for one day.

    To catch for the sunrise, you better get up at 4.30 am and go there at 5.00 am to get a good spot to shoot the best photo of sunrise at the majestic Angkor Wat..worth it 😊

    Bring good shoes. Some of stair climbs are very steep. Took about 45 min line wait for heaven god tower but worth it

    it is really great! Better to spent more than one day to take the experience. take a mototaxi from siem reap for 2 persons for one day - the price depends, if you take a short or a long trip.

    Impressive! Takes 2hrs without a guide and with climbing up the top chamber (optional, requires waiting for 20min in line). So picturisque and divine. A must see attraction. Have water avoid flipflops

    Get your temple pass the day before you explore the temples. You can then come for sunset after 5pm and not have it count against your pass. For sunrise, go early! Stay by left pond for "the shot".

    I cant believe its very big temple. Even bigger than prambanan in yogyakarta. Go early morning to see magical sunrise in this site. In raining day, the streets around temple could be very steep.

    Most visited place here. It's huge and epic. Be prepared for overheat, because there is no shade and wind inside, take water with you and cover from sun. Better visit in cloudy day)

    Incredible place! Definitely worth to visit! Girls, keep in mind that you should wear long skirts or trousers and tshirt with sleeves in order to get into some temples.

    Love everything about Angkor. It's so huge! Catch the sunrise, bring lotsa water. Wear comfortable clothes, shoes. Bring cap/hat/shade too.

    Civilisation that thrived and died out during some 600 years in 900-1500. Brilliant water management systems could not help the final collapse. See the 8 km long artificial lake still holding water.

    The jewel of Cambodian heritage spanning a huge area. Beautiful wall carvings of Hindu mythology. Come in the morning to get a good photo opportunity with clear reflection in the water lily pond.

    Buy tickets a day before especially if you plan to catch the sunrise. Get the 3-day pass so you have enough time to check every nook and cranny. Crowds usually gather at the left side area so be wiser

    The entrance ticket to Angkor Wat for one day is $20. There are lots of temples that you can visit and one day is actually not enough. Tuk tuk per day is around $15.

    Get to the sunrise even earlier than they recommend - it gets crazy crowded and people get pushy. Be sure to cover your knees and shoulders if you want to go to the high/top temple.

    Arrive early for sunrise. Gets crowded around 5:30 already. If you arrive early grab a seat on the stones right by the water for best view of the sunrise.

    The best time to visit the temple is during the sunrise (05:55 local time). Get a guide for $10-15 an hour to get the history of the temple.

    Cover up on the top section (wear appropriate clothing). The female guardians are like extremely unreasonable in not allowing westerners up vs others. Very racist

    Under 13 p.m. sun is straight to your eyes but after there are many tourists! So, go to sunrise. Photos are just pictures, but it is a sense of Angkor's spirit that will depends on your future life!

    Адски много туристов! Флешмоб "встреть рассвет в 5:30"дурацкий абсолютно. Рассвет не так уж и крут, а народу тьма. Лучше в это время ехать в ТаПром-там тишина и загадочные леса только для вас.
