Located in the heart of New York City's West Village, A.O.C. has become a part of the historic and beautiful neighborhood.
Delicious french food. Crazy happy hour at the bar, with $5 dishes & of house wine. Bartender is super friendly. Best place for romantic date at the bar or a brunch in the garden.
Bartender did not know how to pour a beer that wasn't 1/4 foam and then was a dick when we brought it to his attention.
The salad nicoise was fresh, hearty, and delicious. If you're in the mood for something creamy and cheesy (who isn't?) with a healthy twist go for the cauliflower gratin.
The burger is so delicious
Amazing food and atmosphere.
Coffee is subpar.
Service is slow but the food is yummy!
Well prepared food, but I wasn't overly impressed with the service. The bartender is very generous with the wine by the glass, though!
The perfect breakfast spot
Amazing food and staff
Sit at the bar and order a Lillet
So cute and the steak frites were on point
Phenononal service - we had a group of 15 and Jo and Sebastian went out of their way to accommodate us. Plus the food was great!
Good brunch options and drinks. Their bread is irresistible!
Garden is cute! Coffee is great. Goat cheese salad is delicious, but small. Good size to have with the bread!
Tuna tartare w guacamole is amazing!
Don't EVER go there!! Super slow service, waited 1.5 hours for the wine!! Then the food after another 30 min.!! Not OK!!!
Nice continental breakfast and great coffee. If the weather is nice, ask for a seat on the garden. The salmon at dinner is also excellent.
Had the le club sandwich. It was pretty good. Though I think the croque monsieur looks better.
Only restaurant that didn't require a reservation during Valentine's Day. Very small restaurant, so little room between tables. Lobster ravioli was delicious. The Riesling was just ok.
Omelettes are ridiculous!!
Table in the back room by the open air garden in the fall.
Waitress put our order in wrong, meaning we had to wait extra long for food. The mussels were good, but the broth was watery and too onion-y. Horrible beer selection. Too $$$ for what you get.
Service was non-existent.
Service is stellar and the Carbonara is to die for and carb free ,-)
Forget what critics say - if you're wirh good friends lookin for somethin different - perfect spot.
Double date for around $250. Foie gras was supposedly amazing and the hanger steak is a must. Pricey, but absolutely the best if you dine in their outdoor garden at night. Romance is in the air!
Seafood Risotto was transcendent
Bradley speaks beautiful French and Italian. And his pours are superb.
We head to back of AOC for the great outdoor patio.
Delicious croque madame and fries -- throw caution (and cholesterol) to the wind and go for it!
Try the Merguez Pomme Frites And Salad
Beware of the $11 mimosa
Omelette (bacon, ham, and goat cheese) winning combination with Grog!
Meh. Food is rather ordinary.
Get the Onglet hanger steak!!! It is absolutely Freaking Delicious!! I promise you will not regret it!
Amazing food and environment. The music is also very pleasant. I recommend it!
Nice place, but food was very mediocre.
nice terrasse which is rare in this area. excellent burger! nice service and also the back area was used as a scene in sex and the city!
The Moules Provencale is outstanding!
Many ppl complaining about the service. I'd say 50 % of the staff (men) was a bit too efficient, but the lovely ladies saved our night. Try boeuf du tartare. You get to choose how spicy you want it.
This place is amazing. The owner is old school Italian and knows how to run a good restaurant. I had the pasta carbonara and hazelnut mouse for dinner--both were out of this wold delicious.
Vegetable risotto was excellent! Yum yum
Food good. Service poor. With so many great restaurants within three blocks, don't waste your time here. Not only slow, but snooty too. You shouldn't have to wait 10 minutes for the check.
Ummm amazing vibes, beautiful setting. And pinot noir-whats better. Thanks for the sweet deal too btw.
