really fun and entertaining and it's fun to spend 1 hour there without getting bored, and it's really cool and big and has so many cases that are amazing and has many floors with cool apple products
Great store and mostly friendly and helpful staff. Bought a MacbookPro and bunch of accessories there, sadly during the process the "specialist" who was helping me with the purchase was very passive.
Apple SoHo store is a hidden gem in NYC for Free intimate conversations w/ Musicians, Artist, Film Makers, Designers & Media moguls. Find out here: http://www.apple.com/retail/soho/ #MercatMoments
It's an old converted post office unlike other glass/steel Apple stores that stick out like sore thumbs. Great place to see SoHo hipsters and wannabe-hipsters. Otherwise, just like any other store.
A very bad retail experience. The wait is very long, not enough stools or spmewhere to sit while waiting. Getting in the wait list doesn't guarantee there will be enough inventory when it's your turn.
Tuesday midday is the time to come! The store is almost empty, employees aren't stressed out and are in a good mood to gush over apple products with me & provide solid advice 👍
It may not have the iconic giant glass in front, but the Apple Store SoHo is a beautiful, unique store. It is also normally a lot less crowded than the other stores in the city.
This Apple Store is just awesome! I think it is the best Apple Store in NYC. Everyone wants to help you and they're very friendly. Much better than the 5th avenue store!
It may look busy, but everyone's just checking their email. If you need to go in and out, grab what you need and find an agent, they can check you out from anywhere in the store.
As the only Apple store with an auditorium, it's the perfect Soho spot for sitting in a comfy chair and checking your email. Also, many Soho-dwelling celebs can be spotted here.
Had to wait about 30 min past my appointment time but it was all worth it when they handed me a free new iPhone! Great customer service once you get someone to help you
You won't find any Lenovo netbooks here. Stays busy as most places around Prince but a better option than the large and insanely crowded 5th Ave location. My preferred.
All my Apple Store visits so far have been universally the same. The employees are always helpful, I'm typically in and out in a swift manner and their alway stocked on what I need #AppleStoreApp
The glass sides of the staircase are seamless giant 30-ft long panes of glass cut into a zig-zag pattern. Two of the largest solid panes of glass in the world.
The wifi has gotten really slow here. They said it's because so many people are using it, but maybe they're throttling it. It used to be 20 to 30 mbs, now it's down to 2 to 3.
Meet The Filmmaker: Larry Flick interviews George Lopez about his new film Spare Parts which Is based on a true story. #applestoresoho #sparepartsmovie #soho #georgelopez #spareparts #true #truestory
Stars, they're just like us. They're always taking their broken stuff back to the Genius Bar. And then they leave. And they resume Orlando Bloom's life and are not like us at all.
Free wi-fi and a great auditorium. Sit in on one of the many classes hosted here (check website for class schedules) or work on your own stuff.
Avoid peak times like during lunch or immediately after work. The Apple store always has excellent service, but if you want to browse, beat the crowds.
Kind of weird but the place seems to be a meeting place for homeless thug guys. I've seen them inexplicably posting on facebook and washing clothes in the bathroom sink.
If you're iPhone is less than a year old and your earbuds stop working, go to the Genius Bar and they'll give a new pair for free since it's under warranty for one year.
on a Monday afternoon, waited an hour to be seen at genius bar, even tho I made the appt a week earlier. so be prepared to wait and don't bother trying as a walk in.
Check the calendar foe events each week featuring actors, directors, singers and the like give free concerts or lectures, like Amos Lee tonight Live from SoHo!
They seem to have adopted a much stricter stance on courtesy replacements of broken phone screens. $150 - $200 now if you don't have Apple Care. I'd stick with DrBrendan.com though for $99 bucks!
Sometimes I enter quite stoned and its as if they are all robots just repeating the same gargle over and over, I get ideas of just running threw holding some sort of spray paint color just dancing
If you need to fix it, ask questions or learn more about any of your devices... Just get here! So knowledgable and helpful.
The people at the front door are useless. Walk up the stairs and ask the Genius Bar people before you waste an hour waiting around to be told nothing can be done.
There are restrooms for men and women on the right hand side of the auditorium. Chrome, clean and polished, just like their products!!
Need a ride for FNO? Head over to our store on 558 Broadway & (s)hop on or (s)hop off around town! Enjoy 30% off your favorite item from 6pm - 11pm & enter to win a chance to see Lana Del Rey!
Pro tip - if you are looking for a public restroom in SoHo, this is the place. Nice, clean restrooms in the back of first floor.
If you’re out shopping for a tech-savvy loved one check out the Wired Store in Times Square. The store is open daily from 12-7 p.m. 11/18 to 12/24. (Closed Mondays and Tuesdays)
I’ve been a “Mac” for over ten years through four computers, seven ipods, and—hopefully—one upcoming iPhone and iPad. –Danielle Nussbaum, entertainment director
Here's a tip; when you take my name and email address and tell me to "sit and wait for my name to be called" can you MAKE SURE im signed in? ...the little things, Apple, the little things.
Make sure to schedule your Genius appointments online before arriving. If you walk in without one you'll be waiting awhile.
Use the washrooms here if you have to pee and are in soho. Starbucks and Macy's ladies washroom lines are always long. No line up here!
Best place to buy Apple Products in NYC. Not for tourist like the other one store (5a Av.). Always empty and excelent staffs.
Compared with other Apple stores, the geniuses here just seem to have a better grasp on both the product and the customer.
ALWAYS MAKE AN APPOINTMENT, EVEN HOURS PRIOR, TO MEET WITH A GENIUS...IT WILL CUT AN UNNEEDED HEADACHE OUT OF YOUR LIFE!
It's been under construction for a while, but when it opens, one can only imagine the hi-tech glory that awaits. Will the toilets charge your phone? The possibilities!
BAD! Brought in my mac to get it fixed with the geniouses and they got the computer worse and wanted me to buy a new one, 'cause they couldn't get my computer back to how it was before i brought in.
If you have an old iPod, bring it here to recycle it! (and while you're browsing for new gadgets, be on the lookout for cute techie boys)
The (APPLE) RED Smart Cover for your iPad is here. Choose the (APPLE) RED Smart Cover and Apple gives a portion of the proceeds to help fight AIDS.
Free fun alert!! There are often panels, performances, and other events upstairs. Make sure to check their website ahead of time to RSVP.
An Apple Store like all other Apple Store. But look up through every the glass roof and see the water tank. See the neighborhood, and it feels like a special Applestore!
The nicest most respectful staff. Even watched them eloquently handle verbally abusive customers! IMPRESSED!
10am on a Thursday, but no Genius Bar wait thanks to the light rain. No help to the crowd gathered outside behind a velvet rope awaiting the iPhone 6 though.
