Arepa Café ® is a youthful, committed and dedicated team serving arepas in Canada. Traditionally handcrafted. The arepera is a traditional diner from Venezuela. It is a place for breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack or dinner, and sometimes a stop to eat after a good night out.
An absolute must. Fresh through to the sauces. Cassava and tequenos are a great starter. Even the servers are awesome.
Feeling like home!
you can't go wrong with the pabellon arepa: shredded meat, beans, cheese and plantains - yum
So good to the last bite. Also try there awesome deserts.
The sugarcane lemonade is delicious
This place is just amazing. I love their Arepas, makes me want to go to Venezuela on the spot! They also serve Diplomatico, which is a rare thing in the city
Black bean soup is watery and oddly sweet. Stick to the arepas.
The alfajores are fresh and delicious
Brunch, lattes, good customer service
Do not come here and waste your money or time! It is extremely expensive for what it is! Service only in English which sucks! Go to El Gordo Ex on 1048 Bathrust st! A lot better and cheaper! Trust me
Egg and chorizo arepa !
The flavours reminded me of Colombia. So good... The pink sauce is MUY caliente!
Can't go wrong with the passion fruit frappe
Deliciously perfect sized lunch. The Pulpo is damn good. The octopus is soo soft and tender, not chewy and gamy. Mmmm.
Really can't go wrong with anything here. Loved the octopus sandwich, sooo tender.
Pabellom arepa with flank steak, black beans & plantain = pure goodness!
The sandwiches (arepas) are awesome!!!
Awesome lates! Good food but takes awhile
Ham and cheese is my favorite, basic arepa like my mom used to make when I was a kid. Cazon empanadas are also yummy.
The black bean soup is outstanding, especially with a little shot of hot sauce.
The veggie arepa is really good
Avocado bestie... I just grabbed the curvy queen. I love fresh spots like this. Try it yo.
Food is delicious. The prices a bit high.
Hot sauce is really hot.
As a Venezuelan, i can guarantee you'll have great authentic food in this place. If it's your 1st time, try the "Reina Pepiada" because it is the signature arepa. Blackberry juice is a must!!
Gluten free! Try a chicken breast arepa with a cafe con leche.
The hot sauce is super spicy, be warned. Usually I don't taste the spicyness in spicy dishes you find in restaurants... but this was definitely hot.
Fish empanadas were amazing! Great menu!
Yummy "sandwiches." Good coffees. Lovely service. Nice spot.
Messy as hell but tasty. The red sauce borders on being too hot for human consumption so use it sparingly.
Apply the hot sauce sparingly. A little goes a long way!
Amazing place!!! It's a must
Really great! Have been a few times for lunch now and haven't been disappointed. Tasty and filling!
Venezuelan food so good!
Awesome food. Get the flank steak if you want an instance of heaven.
Careful trying the hot sauce for the first time - take a pin point sized taste - TRUST ME
That hot sauce is amanzingly HOT! WOW! Handle with care!
No crepe ..
Go for the lemonade. It's sweetened with cane sugar and always has a mint leaf floating it it.
Nothing here has disappointed me! The Pabellon Arepa is my fave but the watercress salad with Passionfruit dressing is amazing & fresh! Oh & don't forget the large thin brownie, yum!
Best thin chewy brownies!
The expresso is gorgeous. Creamy and nutty.
Pabellon is a must. The plaintain is so refreshing!
The orange sauce is painfully spicy - wooo!
The La Sifrina is practically perfect!
Esto no se siente venezolano para NADA, empezando por el staff y la comida! No pierdan su tiempo y su dinero, porque es muy costoso para el sabor y la porción de comida que ofrecen!
Arepa es la bomba.
