    Did you know? The Battle of Atlanta was fought on July 22, 1864 with an estimated 12,140 causalities. Though ultimately a Union victory, Atlanta would not fall until September 2, 1864. Read more

    The cylindrical panoramic painting of the Civil War Battle of Atlanta here was the largest oil painting in the world until 2004, when it was surpassed in size by a mural at the Kalamazoo Air Zoo.
